ewwwwww to the mossie too, although DD has just gone to drink her apple juice at breakfast and there was a wasp swimming around in it - luckily she noticed !!!!!!!
Well... have started to defrost freezer and am going to butchers today to stock up again - should spend about £40 but that will last us about 2 months.
Am killing time at moment as it is A level results day and we are waiting to go up to school to pick DD AS results up. Mum has taken DS to work on her way home so that has saved me one journey today.
Will definately have NSD tomorrow as had originally planned to go to butchers then - but as I have to get milk etc I thought I'd do it today.
Catch you all when the results are out !!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Surfbabe hope the results are good.
Has DD found it stressful?
DS has been driving me nuts, but his results turned out to be what he needed0 -
Good luck to everyone getting results today! It seems like an eternity since I had to go through all that (probably because it IS an eternity!!!)
A mystery shop I had booked in for lunchtime has just been cancelled......because the shop has closed down!!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Seconded good luck to anyone getting results. That's a shame Hypno about the mystery shop fancy the shop shutting down....I know you can't say which but was it a little firm or a big one as that's worrying!!!!0

Well DD was "well pleased" with her results - its only AS results but they are brilliant for her Uni application. A in Art & Maths, B in Pyschology and D in Biology. She needs Art and AMths to do Architeture so hurrah !!!!!0

Excellent news :T
My only news today is that I have ruined my NSD by having chocolateSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
How much was the chocolate Hypno? It might not be a NSD but sure a VLSD (very low) is allowed occasionally its better than a BSD (Big) and on a VLSD you have only boosted your energy to keep up the debt busting... Can you tell I'm good a manipulating rules

Oh dear Hyno
Is it possible to buy a supply and then "ration" it at a bar/piece at a time?
(she says smugly knowing that there are still 10 time out bars left, the giant bar of dairy milk and a 7 pack of flakes that a friend donated)
Congrats Surfbabe - it is really stressfull; I don't remember waiting for my A'Levels (I only did one and it wasn't important) but waiting for the GCSE results was worse than for the degree classification!0 -
I spent £1.40 on some Reese's Peanut butter cups and a cookie.......I needed the sugar hit
What really cheese me off though, is that I took £10 out of the bank machine to buy it - I had no money in my purse so had an ideal reason NOT to buy.....but instead I have now taken money out that I should have left firmly where it was. Am narked with myself..... (although I have put the rest of the money back in the bank so am being good again)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. You are so good - I have never EVER in my life paid the change from a tenner back into my account! :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
