Hi Pippa - was that an extra £10 per month? And are you on dual fuel with them? If so, that's a lot less than the £250 they quoted me?!! It works out at almost £21 extra per month!

    hey there

    talking fuel prices,,

we changed from npower last spring and we were paying about £150 a month for both electric and gas,, so we switched back to scottish power and were charged £69 a month and it has now gone up to £73 ,, I would never go with anyone else now,,and will stay with scottish power from now on.

you will never guess npower has just been to the door to ask why I left and to offer me £80 cashback if I go back with them and also another £30 for sommat else

Yes it`s £10 per month extra, and its dual fuel. I got it up on line and OH was on the phone, took ages to get through though, but yes thats what it worked out to.
£250 a year seems an awful lot to me, ours will work out to £120 a year.

OH tried the night before and got a most unhelpful woman, so we tried again last night, and got a very helpful one, and so did the deal.

I should have said. Sorry. It was £23.50 for the fruit and veg, £1.87 for 2l milk and £3.80 for 2 dozen eggs. The eggs and milk are expensive compared to non organic, but it gives me longer away from the supermarket, which is where I tend to overspend.

That sounds really good value to me, i bet the quality is better too than supermarket stuff

I'm logging off now - DH will be home in a minute and then it's a case of packing the car, eating some tea and going. See you all in a couple of weeks. Hope everyone stays well and happy.

    Afternoon all!

Just found little girl kitten has died, she was very tiny but did seem to be feeding, perhaps she was just too little. Kids seem fine about, think it must be living in a farming community that makes them so pragmatic about animals.

Got dd3's inline skates this morning and the girls in the village have all been whizzing up and down outside all day, only had to apply one plaster to a little cut, so not too bad on the injury front, though they all have so many pads they look like American football players!

Not done a whole lot else today, will get kids to help tidy around whilst I start the Mexican food - plenty of kids here so shouldn't take them long, me on the other hand will be make hundreds of tortillas, well a lot anyway!

Have a good day all xx

so sorry to hear about the wee kitten. I always get upset if anything happens to an animal.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
