Evening all - been so busy today that I've had to read the thread all in one go and have instantly forgotten everything - blame it on packing related neurosis. I hate packing almost as much as wrapping (dd's presents got wrapped in tin foil last christmas as I rapidly lost the will to care). In the end I told dd to lay out 7 outfits and then put them in the case - and no I don't need to check - i'm sure you'll look lovely. dsis and exbil are extremely well off so if she runs out of knicky-knoxies I'm sure they'll get her some

I'm feeling a bit emotional at the mo which is not like me at all - first off after saturday I will be seeing dd(11) for 3 and a half days until school starts again and then dd(19) met up with her dad last night. He told her that he had loved me so much and that there's never been anyone else really and did she think I would meet him so that he could at least apologise. Well as he pretty much seemed to have got me mixed up with a punch bag while we were married I am now feeling confused and back in a place I don't want to be in much. I am going to ignore this one until Im feeling a bit steadier - dd thinks it might do me some good but then I left when she was teeny so she has no childhood memries of him - grrr i hate emotional quandries

anyhoo I promised dd I would set her up with a blog so that she can let me know what she's up to on her jetsetting adventures - hugs to all whether you think you need one or not
