Morning everyone
Was up at 5am with DD changing a wet bed thought about starting the thread but the call of my lovely warm bed was to much.
((Hugs)) to floss2 and anybody else who needs one.
Plans for today is to get the house tidy and sort out the 3 baskets of washing that are sat in the playroom waiting to be put away or ironed. I'm also going to surf the net to find a new wood burner for the playroom as I'm seriously thinking of having a change around and turning that room into the lounge.
Just noticed that are wild rabbit is back. DD call him Mr Sniffy and wants to keep him. I know how Mr McGreggor felt in Peter Rabbit as I'm having to rabbit proof my veg.Sorting my life out one day at a time0 -

6 nectarines
5 pears
a cardboard punnet of mushrooms
celery
fennel
4 courgettes
huge yellow pepper
huge cabbage
1lb carrots
almost 3lb potatoes
3 large onions
3/4lb plum tomatoes
eggs and milk are lovely and fresh too. Very pleased. Nice driver.

Morning all:D
It's damp and drizzly here today, and i'm off with Dad in a bit to the hospital for blood ests before his transfusion tomoz. The hassle with the parking, and wheelchair etc is so stressful for him, why they can't come and take his blood at home I don't know:mad:
On a happier note I ordered the pram yesterday, as there was a £50 discount on it, and I used a code and went through quidco so got a further £20 off!![STRIKE]i know it's early but.... [/STRIKE]Bargain!!!:T :T :T It's one of those 3 in 1 jobs with the car seat etc, and it's cheaper than DD's was 21 years ago:eek:   Relatively baby stuff is so much cheaper nowadays, I've been pleasantly surprised. She has the cot sorted too, it's her own that's still in perfect nick.I had told the not so dear SIL to save all her baby stuff, about a month ago but she hasn't done, bear in mind I bought half of it:mad:
Whoever's going to watch Mamma Mia, it is brill, cheesy as hell but great, we went last week:D
Anyway HUGGLES to all in need today, and BETH how is your DD hun?"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

:hello: Good Morning!
I have some cookies to make for the ms centre tomorrow, think I will make some of Twinks hobnobs. Then I am off out to lunch round at a friends from work. Seems strange to think that I will not be going back next term.
Penny is one very tired little dog as she had a "playdate" with a friends 5 month old pup and they spent 3 hours just running round and round her garden, so just a short walk will suffice today;)
We applied to have our fuel capped with scottish power online on Sunday (we are with british Gas for both gas and elec) so fingers crossed it all goes through ok.
I am still working my way down to the bottom of the chest freezer, at least 30 frozen bananas in there! :rotfl: so lots of banana bread for a start. Also a huge bag of tomato slices and yet more courgettes! I guess I will also be making more pasta sauce.
have a lovely day and (((hugs))) to all

Oh Bu**er just did a long post clicked post reply and it vanished.
Got the paint for bedroom and tiles for utility floor reduced to £2.48 a pack, got 12. Got 2 huge pepper plants for £2 each down from £8. Boxed up pics, books, orniments etc and preped the room, will start painting today.
Have made DD2 and OH Toulouse sos, jackets, mushrooms and peas, apple crumble, custard for pud. DH will drop it off when he takes their Labs walkies. Have spag bol out of freezer for us.
DD1 has fallen out with DB2, he is depressed and drinking day and night, his Daughter is very unhappy, she is going to stay with DD2 and GD for 2 weeks. I have paid for the 3 of them to go to Paris for 4 days, a little treat. DB2 said Niece's passport was in date, it isn't. DB2 said he can't cope with sorting it out so DD2 will have to drive to Newport and get it. A 4hr round trip. DD2 sent me a copy of the letter she is going to send to him, stating how selfish, inconsiderate, ungratefull etc etc he is being. I tried to perswade her not to and she now thinks I'm on his side. I'm the piggie in the middle as they don't know that he is crumbling physically and mentally trying to cope with the Melanoma. Oh dear God, what to do?
Well must get on,
SMOKIE, PENPIN CANDYGIRLand DDAD, JAWARD, ESSEX and DDAD, CHRISCA, MRS.MIX, POPPY, DUBGIRL,JANNIEANNE ((((((((( HUGS TO YOU ALL ))))))))))
Welcome all newbies.
Edit, Candy am pming you x0 -
Good luck and (((hugs))) to your Dad, Candygirl - I can't believe they can't send a district nurse round to take his blood.
Those of you who have managed to cap their energy prices - have any of you been charged for it? E.On want to charge me £250 and I really don't know what to do! It could be worth it if they put their charges up as much as BG but, on the other hand, £250 is a lot of money! Nothing seems to be simple where energy is concerned these days - I think I'll find a cave and just go out logging for the winter! Perhaps there's one on my fantasy island?
Well, BM is on, WM is on, I've showered, dressed and dried my hair and managed to successfully fax one of the things that wouldn't go yesterday.
The weather has turned very dull - do you think we've had our summer? Wasn't very long, was it?
