If anybody else is looking for somebody to refer them, there is a thread on the Referrers Board (under Bargain Buys, etc).

I would like to recommend Dagobert who speedily referred me, and then paid the agreed amount into my account within days! Then Dagobert did the same for my partner as well (because I had thought A&L might not have paid me if I had done the referral too quickly after opening an account - like five minutes later).

All in all, a brilliant service from Dagobert which I can enthusiastically recommend.

PS Can anybody add a link to the Referrals Board so people can get there more quickly? If so, thanks.

You should get both if you apply for a savings account or ISA BEFORE applying for the current account.

After asking Maforduk to recommend me on 6th March, I received my £50 from A&L yesterday & looks like £45 from Maforduk is waiting to clear into my account today judging by my online statement. Very impressed at speed of this.

Just recived my £50 as did my referer at the end of May. I opened my account last June and filled my form out fully. Many arguments and periods of "its not worth it" we have got what we were entitled to, Don't give up folks, but I wouldnt recommend A+L unless it was for money.:T
