  • If anyone wants to use me as a referral, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help and would deposit your fare share immediately. (Unless it's a weekend!) lol
  • If grumbler is correct, and I see no reason why they shouldn't be, then it seems a bit pointless everyone getting referred by different people in order that some of the referral money goes back to the new account opener. I'm sure A & L could, if they wanted to, advise referrers who have had new accounts opened and when, but I'm not sure they are likely too. It looks then that referrers who were willing to split their £50.00 will end up keeping the lot as they won't know who has and hasn't had their 'incentive' fee. Ah well, c'est la vie.
PS. Anyone who wants me to refer them please get in touch.

Grumbler is correct in that there is no explicit reference given to each payment to tell you who it relates to, but the payments are generally on either the same day or one working day apart, so assuming that scrupulous records have been kept by the referrer, there should be no problem paying out to each and every new account-holder.

I have paid out £40 each to over 50 MSEers who've been referred by me, and you only need to look at the many posts of thanks left for Dagobert on the Referrers Board to see that there's no problem there either.

In the case of Travel-freak I would have thought that even if there were problems with her identifying payments, the very least she could do is keep people informed and respond to e-mails and private messages.

I hope that puts your mind at rest that your comment "It looks then that referrers who were willing to split their £50.00 will end up keeping the lot" couldn't be further from the truth?

Blimey. I wish I got Dan29 to refer me now. But having said that I did only get my money from A & L yesterday. So just because travel_freak has received hers, working on the assumption that both parties get £50 at the same time, I will give her the benefit of the doubt. But if she could clear her mail box so that she could receive messages that would be great. I'm sure there is a valid reason for her not being about i.e. holiday etc.
    Regards

I hope you will hear from Travel_freak, although I've seen previous messages from people who have been unable to contact her. Just wanted to make it clear that people have been happy with the 'service' they've received from other referrers on here.

    Hello all
Is it enough to pay £500 in and then withdraw it after say a week. at any time during the first 8 weeks of opening the account.
will this qualify you for the £50.
    Thanks in advance.

Bag £100s in free cash from current accounts - Martin's article:
...the accounts don’t need the monthly depositsto remain in there for the whole period, so you can switch it back out to somewhere else if you prefer.

What Grumbler quoted is correct, I done the same thing, deposited the £500 and then withdrew it.

Slightly O/T (but not really, as until I get this sorted, I can't claim my referal!) but can anyone tell me how long it took to receive their account info etc after they sent in their signed agreement? I seem to have been waiting weeks, and A&L aren't being overly helpful
