Apologies if this has already been mentioned but here are the details of the offer if you sign up for a Personal Loan, Direct ISA or Online Saver before applying for the current account. I believe you can get this £50 as well as the refer-a-friend cash (via the Referral Board on MSE if you don't have a friend with an A&L account ).



"£50 cashback offer is only applicable to new Alliance & Leicester current account customers opening a Premier Direct Current Account or a Premier Current Account who have also applied online for an Alliance & Leicester Personal Loan, Direct ISA or Online Saver in the last 24 hours. Monthly funding of £500 required. £50 will be automatically credited to your Premier Direct or Premier Current Account within 8 weeks of account opening and provided eligibilty criteria is met. Multiple applications are only eligible for one total £50 payment. Offer can be withdrawn at any time is not available if you are accepted for an alternative current account product."

With regards to the Direct Debits Jolly, you get the forms through later on asking which ones you want to switch or don't want to switch.

Does this mean if I opened an ISA and a current account that I will only get £50?

Where you stated about the Personal Loan, Direct ISA or Online Saver in the last 24 hours is incorrect.

My reading of it is that you can get £50 from Quidco, £50 if you open a savings account first, £50 for being referred by a friend, £40 if that friend is an MSEer from the Referrals Board - so that's £190 in total. However I can't guarantee that all of these payments will be paid.
