  • Reet!! I've started again today!! not doing anything major as I feel if I deny myself everything I'm more likely to fall of wagon. Started reducing my portion sizes (only had 2 crumpets instead of the usual 4!!) and I got myself some nectarines instead of choccy!! It's the little things.

Was gonna ask like....if instead of drinking water...is it alright to drink no added sugar juice...or does it not have same affect?!

  • Its absolutely fine to drink no added sugar juice.

I am again really struggling this week, but I know I'll get back on track.

Good Luck for this week , just take it 1 day at a time.
Whatever you do, do not weigh yourself again before monday!!

    I'm sure you'll be fine ;)

  • Well Done Toffee! Love the "baby steps" approach, those little things do make the difference.

Aww Bowski, hope the rest of your week gets better, I'm sure with your motivation you will turns things round.

I'm feeling a little better than I was, and I had a binge day yesterday as I was feeling very sorry for myself. Even though I'm not 100% I've just done my 30 minutes on my treadmill to sweat this wretched cold out of me.

I weighed myself this morning and was mortified to see that I'd put a pound on over the weekend, so I got some extra work to do if I want to reach the 1 stone mark this week.

    See you later!

  • Hi Toffee!! Glad to hear your doing ok - well done :T

    Hope you ok Bowski too.

My cold seems to have gone but god my legs hurt from yesterday especially my knees . I was only able to manage a slow walk on my treadmill today:o

I was naughty today and had a bar of chocolate, even though I really craved and wanted it, it tasted absolutley awful and it was really disappointing. So I need to remember this the next time I get a craving.

I really need to put in more effort if I want to get to that elusive 1 stone target on Friday.

  • I'm gutted! I didn't make it, I only lost 1lb this week.

I've really lost my momentum the last few days and I have had some naughty treats so I suppose I didn't deserve to lose the 2lb I wanted to :( .
Really need to get back on track, I so badly want to lose this stone as I'm hoping it will give me the boost in confidence to lose my next stone.

Hope you have all done better than me this week!

PS sorry for my "feeling sorry for myself" moan.

If like me the 'pound for a pound' jar has not had anything put in it for a while, do we all need a bit of a kick to get into the Christmas outfit?
