Yes, its quite frustrating, but then when it does come off it's so rewarding. My temptation is (apart from picking in the kitchen, hence the cross stitch) is not eating enough. When I increase the quantities it comes off again.0

Are you doing slimming world? They go on about how you have to eat enough sins, I'm not too sure why I've never looked into it.
I guess if you know your pattern then hopefully when you don't lose you can keep going knowing that eventually it will come off in big chunks. I think if it was me I'd easily lose interest. I hate it when I've had a good week and then don't lose, its always sends me straight to the chinese. You're doing fab so far anyways, keep it up! Well Done!

Yes I have been doing SW since May. It took a while to get my head round what I could and couldnt eat on which days, but now I am in the swing of it. Didn't have much help from the consultant about setting syn levels, so i allow for the fact that I take omega 3 which has to be synned, and then provided I don't go for anything horrendously high like a box of Magnums or cornish pasty or Chinese every night, I don't bother too much about counting.
I guess people only come on here when they have a loss to post. I tend always to go to the slimmingworld thread first.
Do you do Grocery Challenge? I have been saving my receipts this month to get a rough idea of my spending and I am horrified.. I'd like to stay under £100, but have spent £300 this month with a week to go. I have included all my supermarket spends, which means impulse buys like clothes and bits of jewellery. They'll have to stop!!!

I've weighed in today and I've lost another lb and gained £1. It was a really tough week as I've been eating alot of comfort food (my friend died and it was her funeral this week) and even a chinese
I've managed to get my 5 laps on the treadmill to under 30 mins :j (29mins 29 secs to be exact!), so from tomorrow I'll be upping to 6 laps and will try to get this to under 30 mins in 2 weeks - wish me luck:D
My friends dog goes back on Monday so I'll still be going for a walk or a bike ride instead. Not sure how I'm going to fit all this in yet when I go back to work on the 1st Sept
Well done on your lb's & £'s ladies and will see you next week!
Have a good week

lost 1 1/2 so pleased with that. I am finding it really hard I just want to comfort eat all the time. I need to break the habit but cant. even now I have just made myself a cup of tea and eaten 5 biscuits:eek: ( bought them in cos mum stepdad and DB ans SIL are here for the weekend)
what is really scary is my kids were looking at a weight chart in a magazine and according to that DD1, DD2 and DH are overweight and I am obese!!!
it worries me that I am causing a weight problem for my kids for the rest of their lives (it has been a life long issue for me too)
I really dont want that for them because its made my life miserable and then of course I eat to cheer myself up! vicious circle0 -
Hi all,
well I have not been doing so well. I have started increasing my exercise and gradualy tipping the balance towards healthy foods but eating food that for my body are not soo good so not seeing any changes in weight. I have IBS and at the momnt I am craving all my trigger foods which means I look pregnant
I have dug out my old weight watchers stuff and I am going back to pointing all my food again.Don't get strung out by the way I look,
