I registered with topcashback.. clicked through to o2 and now the add to basket links aren't active, I guess they have no stock or don't want to pay out the cashback by selling online as they can afford to forgo the net sales and sell instore instead.. hmmm I just want some kinda deal to convince me0

The iPhone has had a price cut in France. There might or might not be one in the UK. I have a feeling though, that this would be part of a stock clearing exercise as with the previous model, to make way for an updated model or 32GB version early next year.
These are all rumours though; please take them with some salt0 -
Apart from if you are on Quidco etc. is there any real difference in taking up a contract for an Iphone from Carphone Warehouse, or going to the o2 shop?0

Anyone else wondering if the iphone will get a price cut?0

It will, and we've been reliably informed it will be within the next few weeks:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I was about to go buy one in the next couple of days. Is this cut likely to come by December do you think?
I'm wondering also, if I buy it from O2 then the price goes down a few weeks later, what's the chances of them refunding the difference?0 -
Slim to none I would guess...on both counts. A guy posting on the o2 upgrade thread said that the iPhone prices will only fall in Jan, probably in time with a 32g version or something.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I am wondering if anyone knows what the outlook for iPhone price cuts/new deals is at the moment (mid-december). I've waited so long to get one, that i am now paranoid that with my luck, i'll miss a price cut by like a week. Any opinions on waiting until after christmas? And if so, how long after christmas might a price cut/ new deal come about? I am currently an Orange customer (i kept my lame contract for an extra 4 months or so in the hopes that the rumored October Orange iPhone acquisition would come about).
Cheers,
E in Edinburgh0
