oh thanks im with 3 - but looking through the phone i cant see any way of attaching a pic to a txt message either ?

Three do a very good guide on message sending and setting up here (clicky).

Apple's user guide for the iPhone using iOS4 is here (clicky). The section on MMS settings and info starts at the very bottom of page 102.

If I were you, I'd download the user manual (you should get a "save" icon at the top of the screen) so you can refer to it if you have problems. That's what I've done!!

go into your album, open the photo, click the bottom left arrow, click mms, then send it

I've managed to ordered an iphone 4 from Tesco at last! Called this morning and they offered to call me back when they got them in. They called back 30 minutes later and said they had 'found' some! I've ordered a 16gb on the £20 a month contract, should be here in 2 -3 days.

I'm soo excited, need to go and look at cases now!

im on a 3gs and i havent updated the software - well i havent so not sure what it is on it ....

You're entitled to a free case/bumper from Apple because of the iPhone 4 Antenna issue.

Apple last night (well, morning their time) announced an update to their iOS from 4.0.2 to 4.1 to fix the proximity sensor on the iPhone 4, the performance issues on the iPhone 3G and some Bluetooth bug fixes. It also updates the OS for the new iPod Touch that's just been released and adds a few tweeks.

In addition, they have released iTunes 10.

Please can everyone remember to update iTunes BEFORE YOU UPDATE YOUR PHONE!!!

iOS 4.1 should be available next week, so update iTunes this week.

I noticed late last night that O2 have increased the cost of the Iphone handset on the 18month £35pm version from £179 to £199.
