morning all!
glad to hear so many people resisting the urge, it's really encouraging to me so must feel great to you!
i ended up going to the gym this morning becuase i felt so guilty about the half hearted session yesterday, topped off by the 'oops!' after tea last night so feeling more positive today. and the sun is shining, which always really boosts my mood!
so, today:
b - bran flakes, all bran, sultanas and skimmed milk (nearly finished all bran and sultanas so thinking of varying it when i replace them)
l - left over salad nicoise-of-a-sorts (no egg or olives, but still tasty! oooh, maybe i'll buy some olives to go with it, yummy. edit: yep, bought the olives! apparently, you can have 12 in brine for 100 kcals!)
s - yoghurt +/ oatcakes
t - out for dinner so whatever is provided. luckily the host is on a health kick so will probably be something lean. unfortunately it always comes with pita chips and dips before and pudding after, but going to take some celery and carrot with me, and just try to say no to pudding! going to try not to drink as well, the yummy wine replacement worked well earlier in the week so will take some of that.
will hopefully get to go to body pump on the way there as well, will feel like i'm back on track then!
have a good one
ps - edited to say: lemsip and hugs floyd!!0 -
Crikey, where is everyone?
you all out in the gardens on this beautiful August scorcher:rolleyes:
I'm keeping it together, I have been hovering between 13 stone and 13 2 for about two months. My friend goes on holiday Saturday and I have offered to look after her posh bathroom scales for 3 weeks (she was so grateful as she said she would probably worried about them being alone in the house;) ) Anyway these scales show your weight by the ounce and no matter what order you put your feet on the scales or lean to one side it says the same.... so I'm hoping they will inspire me and I will see a big twelve flashing by the time she comes back......I'm so sad:D
B- Poached egg on toast
L-Alpen and yogurt apple and satsuma
D-Pasta bacon thingy.
Whats happened to mrsm? Nix? etc.
Friday is not Friday without mrsm's weigh in:p0 -

yeah, i'm having a seriously hungry day today. had a morning snack as i wasn't eating lunch today, and have been 'hungry' (bored?!) ever since lunch - have already grazed my way through some olives and a packet of raisins. better than the chocolate biscuits that my colleagues are eating, but for some reason i just can't make myself do without today...:(0

ps - rambler, i think jelly sounds like a pretty good thing to eat extra of if you're going to have something, not much to it is there?
not sure i would feel any fuller after it though!
keep it up (hugs)0 -

Evening All,
A big Congratulations to everyone that's lost or STS, my weigh-in is tomorrow morning. I don't know how I'll do as although I've cut out the rubbish (during the week), I know my portions are still too big. I'll see how it goes and maybe reduce them gradually (I prefer to look at it than for it).
Today's grub.......
BREAKFAST - 2 weetabix with banana & SS milk, I let them go soggy and mix it together; sounds disgusting but I don't enjoy them crunchy.
LUNCH - cheese & worcester sauce on 2 slices of soya & linseed toast.
DINNER - Tuna pasta bake made with skimmed milk (hate it on cereal or hot drinks, but fine in a sauce), added some petit pois and about half the amount of cheese I normally use. Also had some coleslaw & a big salad consisting of mixed leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, sweetcorn, beetroot & a little sweet chilli sauce.
I'm actually enjoying my food at the moment instead of just shovelling everything down.
I'm not looking forward to dinner tomorrow though as we have a few frozen chicken & ham pies that need using, they're not very nice, but rather than throw them out we're using them up.0
