OMG Pigpen you have no idea what you're asking of me here!!! I think I should take a photo to show the mammoth task that is the children's room!!!!!
DD3 has downs and adhd, she TRASHES the bedroom she shares with her sister (DD2). She opens something, a jigsaw, a game whatever, gets it all out, and then abandons it for something else. Currently the room is at it's worst, I've been waiting to have a clear day with the OH and no children to clear it together.

I think we should try to get some sort of system for dealing with it... but whatever it is, it alludes me

Well, I've had coffee, and am thinking about making a start.....:p

    Ironing? I don't iron!

    Well I don't iron ... socks - or towels.

(But I do iron EVERYTHING else, including dusters.)

    Like I said - no life!:o

Morning ladies, trusting you all slept well and are raring to go.

DS3 is at Mum's so I have so much I want to get done.

Recycling (green) collection has happened so I can pick up the last bits of hedge cuttings and sling them in so plan an hour out the front.

Chatting is good as far as I am concerned. It is what this thread is about, sharing a bit of our lives, supporting each other, asking for advise and doing the odd bit of housework inbetween:rotfl:

Last night I dreamt there was an advert on tv for being a flylady and joining this thread and in the background was Dusty's post about elderflower cordial - no idea where I get these thoughts from :rotfl: :rotfl:

This is so funny! When I first became a flylady I had a dream that we were all going into boots and getting free lipsticks and pigpen was getting us to put them on ebay as a challenge.

Heather hope you get on well at the GPs and enjoy your tea - fab idea you obviously are expecting to be kept waiting.

List next for me in a separate post so I can keep track of it.

    Morning everyone.

Oooh brilliant the thread is flying as well lol. Just had a quick catch up to see how you all are.

I did the bathroom last night before I went to bed. Its small so doesnt take long. I havent got childrens rooms and I did the spare room on Saturday.

Re ironing. I quite like doing it but dont iron everything. Mostly T shirts and my uniform.

I was naughty last night and ate the chocolate I had bought for mum.

Mudbath Hope your finger is feeling better today. I once jammed mine in a car door.

nicki Your DD must really enjoy reading and thats a good thing. When grandsons were young I was always encouraging reading. I do the same with GGDs now. I think its important.

Right Im off to get ready to meet my friend. It takes about an hour to get there. We are having lunch then going to see Mama Mia.

    catch you all later.

Didn't get as far as I would have liked - DD kept interrupting me - I've washed a load of dishes and loaded the WM - so hardly anything really.

I'd better get dressed now as my hair appointment is at 10.30. Of course it's raining so it'll soon look like rats' tails again.

Well done julie - enjoy the hair appointment.

What's the verdict on whether I should wash my hair this morning if haircut is at 5pm? I haven't washed it for a couple of days so would normally wash it today.
