    That's does have a better ring to it than Hugh, Hugh, Barney Magrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub though.:rotfl:

    This is my pet pedantic subject... (apologies for my anal behaviour... :p:p:p )

    It is.. PUGH, PUGH, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub

    I once had a huge row with hubby over this.. hundreds of years ago.. and I was probably pregnant .. lolso we 'researched' it.. and he had to eat his socks!! ROFL...

    I couldn't have called them that though.. 5 are girls! and there are only 6 names there.. and we had a rabbit called Barney

    I have simple wooden pegs so they all match anyhow:p

    Ditto :rotfl::rotfl:

    Took DD to the park to feed the ducks, got there and there were hardly any - then I remembered there was a BIG fireworks display there on Friday night so that probably scared most of them off :rolleyes:

    Came home and tea is now ready - sausage casserole with a big jacket spud split between us. Done the dishes again. DD is now watching Harry Potter 4 (up to the Yule Ball...:confused: I'm not paying much attention to it this time) and when its finished she can go off to her pit (which she completely changed herself for the first time - no mean feat considering its a high sleeper :j Although alot easier for her than me ;)) and I'll set too on watching one of the many films I've got recorded :o Right, best do dish up tea - laters :wave:

    I am soooo bored.
    No ironing to do :sad:. I've been looking at breadmakers and the breadmaker thread/s. I've got some bread flour in the cupboard and yeast so was toying with giving it a bash. Never made bread from scratch before. Would a lack of a loaf tin be a problem?

    You can make a 'rustic' loaf - just bake on a baking tray - or a 'bloomer'.

    Hated my BM - unwanted gift from ExH. Gave it away.

    I know it sounds daft as your DS2 is so little.... but have you tried a portable DVD player with someone talking face to camera...???? When my DD1 was a tiny baby she loved the news and the weather because it was someone talking to her..... bad mother not talking to her myself.... joke!

    Just a suggestion? ;)

    I will see if the wires on our DVD players are long enough to do this. Sounds good to me if it works - better for him than screaming, and seems though ds1 will have barney on the whole way anyway :eek: might as well be a bad mother for two of them.

    The practice nurse suggested he might be travel sick - i think he just likes attention as he doesn't like being in any type of seat.

    I think i will probably travel in the back with them, then i can entertain them easier. I can always get dh to stop and swap to the front if he is asleep. We will be taking our time over the travelling anyway. ;) planning to have a picnic at the services.
