Morning all, beautiful sunny day here. May make a visit to my parents as i havent seen them for a while. Really need to get back on the flying wagon, havent done anything this week as i've been working. Place is filthy! Hubby said he would do it as i was working:rotfl: He reckons i sit on the computer all day and do absolutely nothing, he did a bit of a tidy in the living room and mentioned that he didnt know what i was moaning about as it was easy to keep the place tidy:rolleyes: I actually clean though, not just tidy, and i dont just pile stuff into one corner to get rid of it:mad: Plus i'm still doing all the washing and ironing:confused: Men! Ok rant over, going to have a croissant and cuppa then will jump in the shower.

Cancelled lunch on the pretext of being ill.... well I am..... sort of:o :o

Felt bad as Mum was really sympathetic. :o

Ah well, it was really lovely feeling like we did when we were first together 300 years ago, and were people instead of parents!!! :rotfl: Not sure it's worth how I feel now though.

Did get an hour's kip while OH took children out on the their bikes. Think he was still a little squiffy TBH!!!!

Dusty thx for the recipe, will try it later

Michelle I'll enjoy the heat of the kitchen as its not so hot here today

Have only managed to do part of the swishing and sweeping as DD's friend came round and I've been chatting to her mum. Never really got to chat to her before so it was nice to.

    Plan is

    Finish sweeping
    Bake Gammon ham
Roast leg of lamb for late lunch
    Blackcurrants !!!!!
Sort bag of veg from garden and freeze as necessary
Prob need to defrost small freezer so I can get to top drawer  and more blackcurrants

    Going .............................................................. gone
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
