Morning all

Slept like a babe. Though I've woken up stiff from all that walking yesterday. We have rain again this morning but it should clear up a bit though the forecast is not too optimistic. Still, it'll be an excuse to drive round a bit more rather than do any more walking (I am SO not used to it!).

Right, bath, work out what to wear today, muck out car, breakfast, Tesco and then out.

Somebody please tell me why I thought it was sensible to stay up all night???? Children are up, and the quiet peaceful gorgeousness of dawn, has been replaced by a dehydrated, stomach throbbing exhaustion, which I know will not be abated until tonight, and I can go to bed!

Plus, I've got my Mum, Step-Dad and Uncle coming for lunch at 12, with no clue what I'm going to make.

SarahShattered were you up all night :eek: . I've actually done that before when some of OH's friends were coming to stay the weekend and I needed to clean house.

Lilme hope you get away ok today and have a great time. OH is talking about a camper van or caravan so could become interesting :rolleyes:

Michelle - nice to see you about and doing so much. You are amazing.

Its a grey day here today and has been raining thru the night so not expecting much sunshine today. DD has a friend coming round to play at 11 so need to do a quick swish swipe and sweep round (plus empty the dishwasher and put last nights tea things in there ). Managed to do a complete cupboard/fridge/freezer inventory yesterday and we have stupid amounts of stuff so I am going to do a meal plan to use some of it up - probably have about 2 months stuff if totally honest. Also have all the washing to do and I must do something with those darn blackcurrants - I keep saying to OH to do something but I think he thinks the blackcurrant fairies will do it for him. Guess I've just become the bl00dy blackcurrant fairy. I suppose he thinks I'm going to do the same with the bags of french beans and runner beans that he's left on the side in the kitchen for 3 days. Also need to defrost freezer upstairs and see what is in there, although I know there are at least 6lbs of ........................................... blackcurrants .

Well DD's up now so best i go and start with breakfast and then shower/dress.

Seemed so lovely sitting up, chatting with the OH as he sobered up :rotfl: :rotfl: We haven't done that for.... years!
