I'm tired. I have been since saturday. I want to go to bed to sleep, perchance to dream (but nicely rather than nightmarely) but I fear I can't.
The Police helicopter is up and about and making an almighty din above my home. The dog has come out in sympathy with it (she doesn't understand things that make THAT sort of noise!) and is barking her head off.
I fear getting to sleep at a reasonable time is not going to happen....
Night night ladies. Wish me luck as I head for Bedfordshire!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Can't believe how long the thread is already. Hope we aren't putting anyone off by the size and speed of it.
mudbath hope that finger isn't too sore - what is it about you and your hands/arms/wrists - you are the walking wounded again.I don't think i could have self carried out that procedure - i had a fire door blow shut on mine when i worked at the chippy many moons ago and remember the agony - i put my hand behind me to shut the door when it blew shut, and it took me 5 minutes to get my finger out as my arm was behind me - it hurt like mad -and the nail came off. not pretty.
valli thanks for the praise - i always feel i should have done more though, but guess i should be happy with the age of my boys - what do you teach? I'm another teacher - secondary science, currently on mat leave until 31st March next year :j So much easier to fly when at home all day.
i will use tomorrow to tackle my room of doom - DS's new room which is still full of clothes - we are having the sofa bed delivered between 12 and 4:30 on Saturday, so i need to totally gut it between now and then, including getting rid of a single bed into the garage, and clearing the boxes on the landing ready for manouvering space. I don't do things by halfs.
Anyway, bit of a list for tomorrow:- get both boys up and dressed
- feed DS1 breakie
- peg out dark load of clothes
- get butternut squash and lentil soup on
- do swapover with sis of ds1
- take ds2 for 2nd lot of jabs - how is my baby 12 weeks already?
- drop dresses off at charity shop
- lunch at our house for the boys? or at my parents
- wash up breakie and lunch dishes
- go to parents house with sister
- take boys swimming
- get boys ready for bed at mums
- bring them home and get in bed
- kitchen - clean sink/draining board
- load WM up again
- spare room - HHI x2 or 3, pack up box of 12-18 month stuff, and box of 0-3 stuff - must do as it keeps appearing on list
- put away pile of filing
- empty shredder
- finish shredding pile of paper
- chuck out dead plant into green bin
- plant sprouted pepper seeds

wowsers!
Can't believe how long the thread is and it's only Tuesday eve.
Not posted for a couple of weeks - I have been battling on another front - that is the weightloss one rather than the flying one. Can't believe I cut right down for nearly 2 weeks and I am a pound heavier. It's really annoying. I know I'm going to have to crank up the exercise. So tonight I've had biscuits, choc and wine...:p
Anyway back to flying! I finally got that bedroom done and the bathroom is super clean too. Tomorrow I'm going to clean the kitchen conservatory and sitting room, but superficially rather than a deep clean and also check my family tax credit thingy as it has to be done by Thursday:eek:. Then I'm going to dig out my college work - got to write two case studies (yikes) by end of August (cripes)...hope to start on Friday when Mum has the little ones.

Night night everyone, and enjoy the rest of your evenings. Have been having a lot of nightmares about school since I've left, so hoping I have a peaceful dream tonight.
Last night I dreamt there was an advert on tv for being a flylady and joining this thread and in the background was Dusty's post about elderflower cordial - no idea where I get these thoughts from :rotfl: :rotfl:Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board0 -
Morning All
In the process of sorting out the rest of the clothes for the holidays - I've still got a pile of ironing which I may or may not get through today but I don't need much more of it for the hols.
I'm not going to bother with the kids' rooms today as they're not too bad and I want to get the downstairs looking something like before we go away on Friday.
Hair cut @ 10.30 so that'll take some of my morning away.
Right I'm going to get on while the rest of you are probably still in bed!

Morning all
Slept very well in the end last night and feel fairly refreshed for once this morning. I have a late meeting tonight so won't be home quite so early. Not sure how much flying I'll get done once I'm home - depends on the time.
Have a good dayI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
