Mmmm dilema! I'm home alone with the children. My finger is twice it's size again. Do I heat a needle to disinfect in and then prod the dodgy bit of my finger myself. I really can't get to A&E with two children in bed ... do I or don't I? :rotfl:
Dont be tempted to touch it- it will keep until the morning - have you tried a cold flannel or ice pack to sooth it?

I did it through the same hole and it feels much better again. I promise I won't play with it again today!!!:rotfl:
I've eaten too much ice cream - it was therapeutic ice cream
Very brave!!! glad it feels better. So, does a therapeutic gin and tonic count? :rotfl: :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member

Oh well I didn't do too well today. Started on the kitchen then my 6500 magazines turned up, so have spent the afternoon stuffing leaflets in them. Lounge now looks a complete tip.
I did manage to give the shower a good clean this morning, hoping that the bathroom was on today's job sheet, which it wasn't. Oh well it needed doing.
I cleaned the washing machine on Sunday, does that count?
Going to be very busy for the rest of the week with the magazines, so hope I'll be able to fit in some brief flying at some point.
Just remembered that I did empty the overflowing bins from the bathroom and my office so I must get some points for that too!Make £2025 in 2025

I went to the bank, dropped my overdraft from £4000 to £2500
I also got a card reader so I can now do more things on my on-line banking
They said since I have such an excellent credit record and history if I can take in proof of income (and I'll include a budget
) they might be able to give me a consolidation loan anyway :j
Took DD to the library - She got another 12 books out  But she also joined a reading scheme thing they've got going (http://www.teamread.co.uk/ ) Apparently if she completes the books she'll get a pump bag and certificate. Didn't have the heart to tell the woman who suggested it that DD has already read 8 books this summer as the programme only requires her to read 6 I think:rotfl::rotfl: DD is really excited about it so I'll let her go to the website tomorrow and register on there as well
I was going to do the housework, but I'm engrossed in "Half Ton Dad" on More4 so I'm going to watch then do some jobs (already recording 2 things so its a watch it or miss it situation)

I'll consider doing tomorrow's list tomorrow. I've just equally impressed and grossed out my children at the same time. Stop reading now if you're eating your dinner. I just popped to the nurse at my practise because I know her and finger had gone very, very big. She stuck a needle thing in the nail and in the pad and the blood nearly hit the ceiling. Most impressive. I've to go back tomorrow to get it released again. DD is freaked. DS thinks i'm well cool!!! I'm just happy it doesn't hurt.
I feel for all you people with carp managers. My last manager was evil - no wonder I went self employed!! xx
Hi Mudbath, I did a similar thing a few months back by shutting my finger in the car door and it went the same as yours. I pierced mine myself, I'd had it done to me as a kid and remembered how well it works. I grossed out my OH he couldn't watch and totally refused to do it for me! It did feel great afterwards.
I did have to redo mine a few days later as it closed up and started to swell again, also half the nail dropped off (which messed up my nailvarnish for months) but could have been worse.
Hope yours isn't so bad.
SSL hope you hear about the job soon and it's good news.
I have no hot water now so kids had no bath (they were covered in sand and mud) and I can't wash up (oh dear:rolleyes:) I am not happy:mad:June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
