I'll consider doing tomorrow's list tomorrow. I've just equally impressed and grossed out my children at the same time. Stop reading now if you're eating your dinner. I just popped to the nurse at my practise because I know her and finger had gone very, very big. She stuck a needle thing in the nail and in the pad and the blood nearly hit the ceiling. Most impressive. I've to go back tomorrow to get it released again. DD is freaked. DS thinks i'm well cool!!! I'm just happy it doesn't hurt.

I feel for all you people with carp managers. My last manager was evil - no wonder I went self employed!! xx

Oh dear, I really haven't done a lot today. Might do some flying tonight, kids are in bed now but not sleeping yet, need to get kitchen sorted as I have grocery delivery coming in the morning but OH hasn't eaten his dinner yet, it's just sitting on the side in the kitchen ( he got home late as kids and I were eating and decided not to join us) so I can't wash up and do surfaces until he eats it (or so I'm telling myself!)

foreversomeday - have you cleaned your oven yet? I want to know how it went and if you have any tips for when I do mine tomorrow?

It's DiL's 'official' birthday today. She has two - like the Queen. When she first came to this country (several years ago) the officials made a mistake translating her birthdate (which is really 21st September) and put it down as 29th July.

So - does that mean she'll retire early (long way off I know) - and she'll get the fuel supplement early too cos the cut off date is 20th Sept or thereabouts - I know I'll have to wait 'til I'm nearly 71 cos mine's 26 Sept.

Mind you - things could all change before I get there LOL Long way to got yet - but not as long as I'd like.

I have just ransacked house looking for keys - then thought to phone DS who, when told to 'take your keys' took the nearest set - mine:mad: . Goodness knows where his are. And it was tidy:mad: !

Shame you didn't video it! Might have been a hit on you tube!
Bet it feels MUCH better now.

Different thing - I tried to post earlier but

What's the thing with Stardrops? Do I save lemons and stardrops and an old spray and make my own cleaner? If so, how, what's the dilution? What can I clean?

(When I was a kid I know they advertised it on TV - 'Stardrops cleans right round the house'.)

Sorry to ask so many questions but at the mo I use 3 different cleaners in bathroom - scouring cream, bleach and bath spray! Don't get me started on the kitchen! So I'd like to know how Moneysavers do it please.;)

I just use stardrops for cleaning and that's it (apart from bleach for my loo). I've not moved up to lemon yet - obviously i'm not keen enough! xx

Evening all. Just popping on to let you know I'm alive (just!). really crazy week at work this week - got home at 10pm last night and had to be on my way again at 7am, and working late again tomorrow night. It's just silly season for us but it will pass.

Haven't had time to read the thread but I've got a half day on friday to get some TOIL back so I'll do it then. for now, I have 15 mins free until DH leaves the studying for the evening and i'm going to read my book!

    Hope all are well :)
