Lol tia...only you could think that! The last inch of my finger is now totally black, twice the size of the other one and feels very tight. I've just had another salesman knock at the door and have told him to sod off. DD has now written a note and put it at the window...it says...'do not nock here to sell anything because my mum will get very mad at you and that is scary!!!':rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx

    Good girl!

Hope it's better soon. You need anaesthetic - try a glass (or 2) of something chilled! Hold it against finger, empty glass as liquid warms up and refill with more chilled liquid. ;)

Oooh do you get lots??? I rarely get anyone.. other than the 'it is only £2 a month... '... I open the door and say 'if you want any kind of monthly contribution from me it is not going to happen.. ok?' That gets rid of most... if that doesn't work it means it is either utility people.. 'If I wanted to change I wouldn't do it on the doorstep.. thank you.. goodbye'.. and shut door in face.. and the Mormons.. oh yes we get a few of these, never any JW's though.. 'Sorry.. *editted out the bits that would have me thrown off the site lol* but we are a *christian family'

I did all of mine and DH work stuff last night, ner ner de ner ner

My XH used to do all of the ironing. It was the only thing I missed when I left. I did wait until he had finished ironing my work stuff to tell him I was off - does that make me a really bad person :p ? I did let him keep the house and the cat.

Door to door sales - We get lots of change your energy provider ones, and every so often UPVC windows - I think someone who has a sense of humour sends them round, we are in a conservation area and can't change without permission. It helps not having a functional doorbell!
