Hi all ,thought I was doing well,25th is my end of month and have only spent £139.7,then remembered I've reduced budget to £180,still I've got £40.12p left and should only need to buy milk.
Chicken or fish in freezer and real odds and bods-why bother saving gravy and tiny scraps of pastry? At least they are labelled, see I do learn eventually.
Need to make bread, granola and yogurt tomorrow, made jam today but no time to do anything else as I'm off to an anniversary party tonight.
Sorry to hear your news Kaat_lady

Sorry for your loss Kaat_lady.
Just did my weekly shop and came in at 18.72, including some toiletries that will probably last a couple of months. I am well pleased. Have enough food from last week and the storecupboard to last me all week (I hope) so just need to sort out my meal plan (properly, did a vague one before shopping).

What is this offer about please? We use loads of cereal as DH eats a pasta bowl full each morning. For this reason I buy the supermarket own brand rice crispies, corn flakes, etc. Many of the other cereals are just too expensive for such a small box.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

Hi Everyone
Kaat - :grouphug: - My Mum's dog has a tumour in her stomach and may have to be put down - she's 15 and as Mum is on her own so it will be really hard on her - Pets eh, they get right into your heart!
Thank you to everyone for your kind comments on my last job - I love doing this, it's so much fun and I'm sooooo glad I was given the chance to do it full time - anyone thinking of following a dream, go for it, you won't regret it...:D
NSD again yesterday and so far today, although I do need to get some veg but might go tomorrow.
Been to hospital today as hurt myself in the chest moving a sofa on Thursday (might have been that I threw myself off a balcony onto some scaffolding that had something to do with it!) but have had xrays and nothing broken or cracked, just badly bruised - hurts to breathe, cough and sneeze which is a bit difficult
- stupid thing is, they gave me a prescription for cocodamol - went to chemist to use prepayment card - wouldn't accept it as the prescription was from the hospital and they are a trust - apparently different NHS (thought there was only one
) but chemist in hospital shut to patients and doctors shut till monday so can't change anything or get anything till then, so had to buy my own - what's the point in that? luckily have some at home at the moment so may make it to Monday without needing any more till I can get it then...
Am off for a lay-down now, feeling really tired, and I was going to do so much this weekend - still, dust waits eh! Kaatlady - So sorry to hear your news - thinking of you.
The budget is not going well this month, the freezer is nearly empty and the cupboards are looking really bare. So this weeks shop is going to be a bit expense as I need to stock up. Hey Ho there is always next month.....

Hi Everyone.
KAAT-LADY so sorry for you.
Went to MrS this morning. Spent £38.56 have updated signature. Bought milk, veg chicken etc. Didn't plan on spending that much. Will have to go steady now only £9.64 to last to the end of the month. I will do it, I will do it. Have placed the £9.64 in a glass jar in the kitchen so each time I'm in the kitchen I'm reminded to make do with what I have. Have a full freezer & cupboards so should be able to do it. Plenty of NSD's ahead. Have a good evening.2025 Decluttering 10472⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
