  • well Mr t just delivered and it was not as successful as Ihad hope, in fact I sent back 28.48 of good, short dated meat, hard bread and punctured cans.

I called and complained and they have sent me two 10 gbp vouchers for future shops, if they get another cahance with my money.

I shopped on line to try and keep me ut of the shops there fore no impulse buys, fat chance of that.

So as for my monthly budget thats £188.85 of my £350 spent.

    Good afternoon all,

I've done a shop yesterday, so spend another £30. This should last us until next Tuesday. On Wednesday we go on holiday for a week. The total for August is now £126.96.

I have bought lots of stuff on offer, which will not be used until later in the year. :j

I will have to pop into Lidl on Monday, as they have some juice on offer.
But lately, I have found the best offers in Mr M. Some things cheaper then Lidl!!!

Oh, Mr M also has milk on offer 4 pint 2for£2 and 6 pint 2for£3.
Also, wildlife fromage frais BOGOF, Robinson Fruit Shoot 8 pack £1.22
I use one bottle for nursery a week, then top up with squash etc for the rest of the week. :p

So, I have £23 left to spent for when we get back of holiday. I shouldn't need much, and I will prepare a shopping list before we go on holidays. :o

  • Kaat_Lady, I'll be thinking of you and Archie today. Sending you lots of hugs. A NSD for me. I even took a walk at lunchtime and can usually fine something to spend my pennies on but resisted all temptation. Hope everyone has a fab day.
It's up to me now and nobody else.

Was meant to be a NSD for me today but i needed an onion for dinner. Ended up spending £8.39:eek: Did get 2 lots of whoopsied mince and some whoopsied pork ribs though. They have gone in my freezer.
Have done a freezer inventory on my computer, so much better than the scrap of paper i kept losing:o

Just spent whole £1 at lunch at a local veggie shop - this is still from the cash I withdrew last week. For this I got 8 (!!!) mediterranean red peppers. He sells things by the bowl and often has fab bargains... So those will be used in tonight's salad, another in weekend meals and the rest will be roasted for some lovely pasta sauces and adding to dishes... I gave one of these peppers to a work colleague as I got so many!

Ann, Hugs to you and Archie. Hope Archie is comfortable.

Have spent quite a bit today, not all for gc so I'll have to work out what's coming out of what pot and update my siggy later.

Went to Mr A to buy a few bits for our holiday and popped into Boots to take advantage of their No7, Clinique offers and buy some presents. August is the start of "Silly season" in my family. Between now and Christmas Eve, I have 15 birthdays and 3 wedding anniversarys to buy for . The worst times are October (4 birthdays in 10 days) and the week before Christmas (2 anniversarys inc ours and 2 birthdays). DH say's it's a good job I'm organised, before we got together his family would always get presents late, despite reminding him.
Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j
