I'd like to add a thumbs-up to EBICo because of their simplicity with their billing with no standard charge and only one tariff charged for all units. There's another point to compliment them with - they don't charge a premium to their prepayment customers. Most utility companies operating prepayment meters not only require you to pay in advance, they also ask you to pay a premium to do so, and that's regardless of any arrears. Shame on you the big 6 and well done little EBICo.

On the other hand, it *could* be argued that Ebico subsidise their pre-payment customers by charging their DD/higher usage uistomers more than they should. As a fairly high user, Ebico is no good for me if price is the major factor (it is!). Remember they are a non-profit making organisation. I also think their new policy of aligning themselves with SSE increases will make them even less of a bargain but time will tell. I've absolutely nothing against the company at all, btw, I recommended my extremely low usage fatherr to take their gas, which he has.
