Been with Ebico since last November. Very happy. Wouldn't switch now if offered free gas & electric for life from any of the other suppliers. (But then again, please bear in mind I'm not a MoneySavingExpert. I'm just a slightly ethical person & happen to respect appropriate levels of customer service)
Anyway... just wondered, what are other Ebico customers doing about CAPPING?SKIPS STONES FOR FUDGE0 -
I for one am staying with them as, for me a low user, the cheapest capped tariff was around 25% more expensive.
This winter I shall be mostly wearing a thick jumper and a woolly hat. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Capping too expensive for me too. Again low user, the premium asked is too greater perecentage of total bill.
Having insulated just a bit more this summer, will drop heating hours this coming winter, change lifestyle slightly.
Still seriously thinking of Quidcoing, and in due course come back to Ebico or Southern Elec tric.0 -
I am staying with ebico too. I love the clarity etc0

I'm staying with Ebico, seems tha latest round of price increases will affect all companies in due course now that BG has got in, so may as well stick with nice clear bills, ethics, and customer serviceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Midflight.
I don't think i'll bother capping.
As i've said, it is a gamble. Who knows what will happen?
If everyone would just stop and think for one minute, if we ALL, or as many as poss, would switch to a NON PROFIT MAKING, ie, NO greedy shareholders to grovel to, company such as Ebico, the prices would tumble.
Too much me me me nowadays.
BTW, nice photo, I get the feeling I know you from somewhere.............0 -
I emailed Ebico to ask if they could offer fixed prices and they just said no.
I was a bit worried about price rises and found my cheapest fixed price supplier which was Scottish Power. I applied through Quidco yesterday and it seems to have gone through. It worked out cheaper than my current deal with Ebico with the cashback, which seems to have been withdrawn,
I would have liked to stay with Edico but just couldn't take the risk, and am disappointed that they don't offer fixed prices which would be ideal for their typical customer.0 -

Absolutely. Well said.
Of course, gas & electric should never have been privatised in the first place
You wonder whether all those people who made a quick profit from the sell-off now realise that they'll be paying the price for the rest of their lives...BTW, nice photo, I get the feeling I know you from somewhere.............
Possibly so. Are you Ena Sharples?SKIPS STONES FOR FUDGE0
