    Hi Everyone

As you can imagine I have not had time to catch up with you with the boys being here. Having a fantastic time with them.

Yesterday was the Air Show which was a bit marred by the weather - dreich to say the least which meant aircraft couldn't always take off to come here to do their displays. A good day out but rather expensive. [strike]I must confess I mentioned to DGS1 that he shouldn't say anything about being 5 when Granny said one adult and parking please (under 5s free!). [/strike]ToysrUs today and pottering around here in the back garden.

Tomorrow hope to go to the Animal Farm and a new playground which has been recommended.

DGS3 been in bed since 6.30. Big boys are having an extended bath with dinosaurs in there having a set too. They should be down soon. I am watching Heartbeat in bedroom so I can supervise.

    Very hot and sticky today.

Love and hugs to you all. Congratulations where due and sorry to those who are not too well or have other things going on.

Hello and welcome to frugal swan:hello:

It is still very hot here, and its getting a bit uncomfortable now, all doors and windows open, but air is so still, as though a storm is brewing, hope not.
Going for a shower before DS2 and DIL get here.

    bye for now

    Hi Again

Welcome newbies. Elona voted from laptop and desktop at 5 see they they are in the high 4's now:T .

M - managed to view the favours and your knitting - you are very talented - must get my a$$ in gear, but it may have to wait until I have had the ensuite done, as need to empty our bedroom:eek: and we go off in the 'van in 17 days! Maybe need to get organised to take some to Spain with me in September, keep me going during the long drive.

Spent the day, 1) - trying to sort out my wired network (need to wait until I can take back bedroom apart to get to the socket) so that was the waste of time.:o Now going to have to reset everything to wireless for now 2) Reading back the threads to Wednesday.

Seems I have missed some very interesting birthdays and anniversary, the numbers didn't seem to work for Snowy though, as she claimed to be 29, but then said she hadn't done medical secretarial work for 20 years - child prodigy at 9:D . Haribo another birthday girl - hope things go well for you on Tuesday, I'll resist taking the proverbial. Pen-Pin good luck for tomorrow, hope OH manages to sneak something nice in. Prin-Pix hope the new name works well, and the LO's don't drive you totally da-da. Hester - you think give over, you are literate, numerate, can use a PC, word, excel, and you must have a telephone manner, as we all know, which would be brilliant without the marbles:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Be brave and go for a higher grade if one comes up at work. If you want help with CV get back to me. Troo understand your feelings, can I be rude and ask if your could be at that awful female age, it can affect one by being unable to cope. I hope you did tell DH that you would like him to be like an Adonis in return, and earn a mega salary. lol
Sunnyday I'm back now when you want to come and get the Chef.

Managed to contact Crazy-Chick and she says that dlb and herself are fine, just busy, but will get back to us when they can.

Managed to avoid shopping since our return so far, but may relent tomorrow for fresh stuff only.

Back to midsummer murders, looks like DH will have a job clearing bodies out of the back of the TV in the morning. DG

Candygirl, isn't it funny the associations we put on words/names - my mum wanted to be Grandma (at the age of 46 when my oldest DD was born - 16 years ago, eek!!), partly because most of the great-grandparents were still around & were all Nanny (or Grandad...), and she felt older being a Nan than a Grandma! Lol... Having said that, my DD's all now call her Ma-Ma (mar-mar).

It's scary too, as 2 of my friends have recently had their 14 year old DD's announce they were pregnant... :( Brings it home that I too could be looking at grandparenthood in the next few years, eeekk!!! I think I'll be known as Fred.

    My DD is 21 , will be nearly 22 when it's born;) :D :j :j :j only 34 weeks to wait:o :o
