Morning all
WELCOME ZOE
SMOKEY glad you had a good day yesterday
PENPIN hope the hospital is not too bad.
CANDYGIRL congratulations.
It's boiling here again today, we really need some rain. Managed to get DS the last paddling pool in Argos yesterday that was reduced. It had loads of other things with it. It's taken ages to fill up but as it has a cover, hopefully if I buy some chemicals to bung in it can stay up all summer. You can also drain it using a hose. barbecue was nice last night but I seem to be in a perpetually grumpy mood at the mo, must be the thought of going back to work tomorrow:rolleyes: .
Have an application form to fill out for a teaching assistants job. Also need to sort out my CV, and send it around some places. Plan not to do a lot today. DS has a party down the beach later.
Have a good day all.

Morning!
Well, it looks like its going to be glorious here today, but I need to get some shopping - want some racking for my living room, collapsible crates, and hanging rail for my wardrobe. I am hoping Wilkos will have it all, I do not fancy going to Trago.
Breakfast is pancakes which I got free from work
Lunch...might be BK if I go into town
Dinner is leek and bacon pasta bakeWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Penelope Penguin sounds like you`ve had a great time over the last couple of days,is`nt it nice when the weather is mild and everyone can sit outside with a drink and something to eat, and chat the night away;)
mioliere yes wireless is the best, I have had one for a couple of years now(present from DS1) and find the normal one`s are a pain with the wire trailing everywhere,I was perfectly ok with it though until I had a wireless one:D
It`s a lovely sunny day here again, WM has just finished so need to peg that out,no DW today as its not full,OH is just off to get the mower out, I wont let him start making a noise until after 10:00 on Sundays as the some people like a lie in:rolleyes:

Hello, well it is looking like another hot one in MK today. Hopefully OH will be able to start on the decking that we have planned for the garden, just outside of the conservatory. I'm planning on more housework and ironing today boo hoo. Had bacon and eggs this morning and chicken tonight in the good ol' slow cooker - my best buddy! Hope everyone has a lovely day.
lots of duddles.0 -
Morning,
Congratulations Candy, you did wonder if DD was feeling broody.
Hugs to those in need, esp PenPin and Clareo and Master Pixie
I've put some lamb into the slowcooker for today, although it had been in the freezer for ages, so I'm not sure how it will turn out.
I will have to empty my small under the worktop freezer as one of the drawers isn't quite shutting properly due to a build up of ice. But, as the little chest freezer is bulging, I'd better start getting inventive with the meal planning.
I too live beside the seaside, but I never think of going for a walk along the beach, maybe I should....help blow some of these cobwebs away.
I will be calling round to mum's flat today with the bits and pieces she bought at Ikea, I didn't get my meatballs, as mum didn't fancy any of the food...so we had a piece of the Dime Bar cake instead
She saw some wardrobes she liked, but we will need to return in OH's van for those, or measure the car if I take the back seats out. (so there's hope yet)
Have a great day gang.
Hugs to all....again.... :grouphug:

:hello: :hello: Hello to different corner and zoe
Lovely day here and just about to make breakfast. Might go shopping later for some veggies and salmon for lunch if there is a good deal.
Washing is on the line outside and dishwasher is on.
DD(14 has a birthday party to go to so her big sister is helping with her hair and some discrete make up. We found a gorgeous dress yesterday and it was only £12 - she loves it and I approve as well.
Hugs to everybody and see you later
Special hug to pennyp and good luck at the hospital!"This site is addictive!"

ohhh just had a text bringing well good news to me, the house im in has a damp/mould problem on outside walls where it needs re rendering etc, my landlady has just let me know that work starts tomorrow so well in time for winter as she promised when i moved in (i was so reluctant to take this house for the reason the damp was quite bad,) it was supposed to have started in april but was cancelled due to the bad weather as they will be stripping the walls back and then doing whatever needs doing, once thats done she was getting someone in to paint but ive started doing that myself (which i dont mind at all) painting has been going slowly but im getting there with itDFW nerd club number 039
