Turned Down for MRC DLA But Fit Criteria

3. Unless you know something that Titch89 has not written on MSE, she is not entitled to MRC.
has it occured to you that I haven't written all my problems on MSE?:rolleyes:Also if the OP condition has worsened then why have they not been back to see their consultant in the last 13 months, granted they may not be able to help you.
There's only so much they can do. In the case of Nystagmus, there's currently nothing. Well, there's an operation, but that doesn't actually do a lot.
I think the doctors have most of my notes from the eye infirmary anyway. (I think the last time I went to the doctors, they moaned because they weren't given any feedback on what happened - apparantely, they should've had my CVI)0 -
Titch, you keep saying you "think" medics have your notes but you've got worse, you have to keep going back. Go and see the eye infirmary, and tell them things are worse, they won't chase you.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

There's no point. They can't do anything. They told my parents this 8 years ago and it's still the same today.0

People can only work with the information YOU give them.
Rather than a snide "has it occurred to you that..." in response to every single point made, why not provide people with the CORRECT information in the first place? Of course if you don't want to tell people everything about you (although your posting history would suggest otherwise ), then you can't be offended when people don't know something! In this case, you most certainly cannot have your cake and eat it.
I still stand by what I said earlier which is that you do not want to be helped (unless it's by money of course!).
If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0 -
I 2 have a disabled child so know what living with a disability is .Ive just read through the whole thread i i would be offended if people answerd me the way some have op . My best advice with this is to get his local mp involved , and appeal .I appealed my childs it took 18 months but it worked with help from mp ,sw and hv.
If it had gone the other way and we lost it altogether so be it .When people have made comments about tripping while out and saying i do that to , that to me is an attack on someone with a disability. I cannot find any real advice to this person. All these talking things you are on about are very expensive . It doesnt help either when they are out , he needs someone with him to keep him safe and is a danger to himself and others.0 -

If I was that desparate for money, then I wouldn't bother cancelling my IB assessment next week and applying for ALG instead.:rolleyes:All these talking things you are on about are very expensive .
I know they are. I have looked into them.0 -
Contact your local mp , mine was really helpful and within a few months of him getting involved , my son got his award. By what i have read you should get mrc , i asked them to come and stay with us for a few weeks before they made another decision.0

If you have more problems than you have written about on MSE (virtually blind, nystagmus, balance problems, IBS, self harming), then you might as well just write yourself off now.
Sorry, I forgot ... you've already done that.
lighton, what you are missing is the fact that this is one of many poor old me threads by Titch89. However, rather than leaving them as a resource for information for others who are virtually blind, she asks for them to be deleted once she is done with them.
As you are clearly such an expert on DLA, can you point to where Titch89 meets the requirements for MRC?
Titch89, you keep contradicting yourself as to which medical professionals you have seen, and when you have seen them. I didn't think that you had seen anyone in the past 13 months?Gone ... or have I?0 -

It has nothing to do with if they can give you any help.
My husband has Mitral Valve Syndrome. A floppy heart value. He goes every 2/3 years to see his consultant. They will only do something when it gets really bad which is valve replacement. I know for a fact if he started to get worse even if they would not do anything he would be going back.
You are only going back to get them to confirm that it has got worse and get your notes.
Yours
