You could always get your GP, hospital consultant, optician and any other health care worker that you see regarding your complaint to write letters for you to send to the DWP and ask them to review your case. Ask for any response to be in large letters (to enable you to read comfortably), other than that, if your condition is deteriorating then you need to see your consultant and explain these changes to him/her.

As for being almost blind - with no glasses, in my good eye, I only have a quarter vision left and in the other one, I have less than 80%.

My sight without glasses is worse than dire. The only pair of glasses I have ever broken was when I trod on them whilst looking for them. And yes I knew they were on the floor, just had to feel around until I found them though, except in this case I knew I had found them when I heard them crunch. I have worn glasses for every bit of my life that I remember, like a lot of others. Obviously your glasses are worn to correct some of your sight defects so absolutely pointless to say what your vision is like without them. I couldn't go out , certainly would be unsafe to cross the road etc without my glasses. Do you think I could get DLA high rate mobility as I will certainly walk into things etc if I don't wear my glasses.

If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.

Being blind in 1 eye and 20% in the other hasn't stopped my father working. He's still working at 66 years old and enjoying every day

    Can't work/won't work!

I can see you are wasting everyone's time here. You have admitted to being a liar-unfortunately once someone has lied on one thing, most people assume they lie about EVERYTHING. I don't believe you would even be willing to TRY to work. You are just determined that you can't do this that and the other and think if you were my child I'd shaking you from sheer frustration! With your can't-do attitude I feel your student life is going to be very short lived but I wish you well. For somone so obviously capable of fighting their own corner it's obvious you are not actually entitled to higher rate DLA,as I have no doubt if you were and had been assessed wrongly you would have had it sorted by now!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
