Does what your parents think not concern you? Does what anybody thinks really concern you, or are you just always right and so no one else matters?

Titch, I think you're your own worst enemy. You are either unwilling or unable to string together a coherent or consistent arguement or story and therefore, people will naturally suspect that you are either not genuine or not deserving of their support & help.

You've heard of lights, haven't you? And black on silver is easier to read than black on white. You do realise that it's possible to get keyboards with letters in large print on, don't you? (which mine is)

I think you'll find that I am struggling and that I do need MRC. Not that any of you'd understand.

I undertand and i think some of these people on here are ignorant and belittling. You have come on here for advice and help , some of the things that are being said are shocking.Maybe if they were virtually blind they may understand .As for the typing etc maybe before people comment they should look at the technology out there today.Good luck to you and keep fighting from what i hear you should be entitled to middle rate , get your local mp involved .

 I think you'll find it's not. I only have one account and have no reason to have another.

    1. Titch89 is not virtually blind. You will find several posts where people have said the same thing, and she has bitten their heads off.

    2. Titch89 is unwilling to try any of the technology out today. People have made numerous suggestions to help Titch89 in this way, and she has snubbed them all.

    3. Unless you know something that Titch89 has not written on MSE, she is not entitled to MRC.

    4. All that Titch89's MP will do is tell them to appeal, they will not get involved unless the DWP have done something wrong, which they have not.

Perhaps you should actually read all the posts before referring to people as ignorant and belittling?

I know what technology is out there to help in an office environment as I worked with a partial sighted person

Also there is plenty out there that could let the OP live a normal home life. Such as talking microwaves, talking measuring jugs, talking watches etc.

My husband is physically disabled and has only the use of one arm and hand. He is desperate to go back to work. But sadly at the moment that is not possible. He hates being sat at home all day and living off benefits.

Due to the stroke he also has brain damage. Most people would not believe me if they saw him. But his personality has changed. He is not as patient as he was and is more demanding as well as putting himself in potential dangerous situations. But because he can go and catch a bus of course there is nothing wrong with his brain is there

You need to tread very carefully with benefits. Appeal by all means but it could be downgraded or taken away completely. And if found to be lying you could be done for fraud.

Also if the OP was to answer the questions that people ask then people might be able to understand her condition a little better.

Also if the OP condition has worsened then why have they not been back to see their consultant in the last 13 months, granted they may not be able to help you. But at least you get copies of hospital notes. All things like this help to strengthen your case when claiming benefits.

    All the best to OP.

    Yours

    Calley
