    Welcome dubgirl:D

I soooo agree stefe, much too hot, and humid with it:o And I have to tidy the front garden, in the sunicon9.gifA neighbour has put me forward for a beautiful garden award, so now I've got to weed the damn thing:rotfl: Lovely thought but I wish she hadn't:rolleyes: I have no idea when the *inspection* will be so that's an ongoing chore. I'd just feel so bad for her (and me!) for it to be in a state.

I've stripped the beds and the washing is on the line already:A Salad and something for dinner, I am not standing over a hot stove or oven for any length of time today;)

Sorry, my mushy brain is fried in this heat, so congrats to the celebrating, and hugs to those not celebrating. Mioliere breathe deeply and relax:D :D
:hello: mrs mix, hope you're OK:D

    :hello: Good morning!

    Welcome dubgirl

Penny_pincher lovely to have you back! Hope your holiday went well and that you feel less exhausted later.

Churchmouse - how lovely to be nominated for a beautiful garden award! I won't ask you to come and sort my garden out though - there's such a thing as stretching friendship too far :D

HUGGLES (and duddles!) to everyone whether you need one or not.

Stefejb - I don't know whether to commiserate on your loss of a weekend on your own, or be glad for you because of your DD's unexpected arriival - I think the second one, as I know you'll enjoy having her around.

AussieLass - hope you will be feeling better by the time you read this, take care of yourself (((HUGS)))

    Smoky (((HUGS)))

Off to Bluewater this morning so I can try on some very pretty Scholl sandals I spotted yesterday when i was there - I couldn't stop to try them on at the time as I was with DD2 and DGCs. Seems funny to think that when I was first married Scholl sandals were just the ones with the wooden insole! Will have to go to baker's and butcher's too, before going to B'water. Our baker's do a lovely multiseed loaf which tastes lovely and is Low GI so ideal for DH, and I like it too. Not sure about trying to make one in the BM as all the seeds may make it too heavy for the motor, and I wouldn't be able to do the kneading by hand so we're stuck with buying bread again atm:rolleyes:

Well, must go as DH has finally come down ready to start his day:D

Please be careful not to get sunburnt!

    best wishes

    Morning Everyone

I'm back, hope everyone is ok. Not had a chance to catch up yet.

We had a lovely time but now its back to reality with a bump. I appear to have got the entire campsites washing with us and have about 6 loads to do. Happily the house is clean and tidy I think it will be takeaway tonight after we've been to visit my dad and in-laws.

    Have a good day everyone

    Hello all !
Lovely sunny day again and thankfully, not as 'smothering' as it felt yesterday. Still, once it cooled down managed to sit out in the garden for a bit with OH when the kids had gone out............bliss it was.
Bit too warm for housework (any excuse............lol) so I'll be doing not a lot !

Have a good day, stay cool, and hugs (((((((((((:o )))))))))))) to all those who need them

Hot hot hot! I'll get out into the garden soon, do a little light gardening I think. OH woke me up this morning with a bacon sandwich and a cuppa! How lovely. I've hoovered downstairs then OH traipsed mud into the conservatory - he's going to sort that out:D). My kitchen is tidy, I was thinking of baking today but not sure I can bear to put the oven on. Could try the remoska i suppose, will keep thinking about that one. I've also washed some of the cushion covers from the "new" suite and they're on the line - I'll wait till they're dried, ironed and (hopefully) back on the cushions before putting the rest in, as the tag said dry-clean only so I've taken a bit of a risk. I reckon they'll be ok though, they seem to have come out the same size!!;)

OH is currently using the power washer on the deck - looks like it will take ages but really needs doing as it's dangerously slippy when wet. He's also trying to talk me into getting a new table & chairs set - tbh we do need one as ours is old and too big for the deck really. So I'll probably cave!

Have a good day everyone, you can all have a hug xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
