  • Thanks for your post belfastgirl, it was very interesting, yes he is indecisive, yes I probably will get to a stage where he will have to make a decision, although he has already said he loves her & we're over, so he has really.
Just don't think he's coming around JUST to see the kids!
Yes it will be hard to forgive but it will be harder to be without him
Last yeaar was pants, I was probably a miserable old cow, because my mum died end of march so was looking after the kids on my own ( sort of, a bit like now, couldn't really cope ) & grieving

Do not let me hear you saying that again about you being a miserable cow:p you had every right to be down etc xxxxxxxxxx

I am so glad he is coming round often as mine just told my son basically at 9.45 pm it was to late to call and reason he did was due to him being upset again:rolleyes:
Right have solicitor at 10.15 am tomorrow not looking forward to it one little bit though has to be done as my son is no 1 priority to me even if not to him

Just rang Child Tax Credit and put in a single claim and cancelled the joint one!! Thats it - no going back now!! I told them that he is still here at present, but that we are sleeping in seperate beds, doing own shopping, cooking, washing etc and they said thats enough. Claim start date has been backdated to last wednesday which is when we said in relate that we were splitting. So is all official now! :-(

Ger - make sure if they send 2 separate Tax credit packs that you get him to send his back - According to them, they sent me and hubby 2 separate packs, and as they didn;t receive one (his most likely - if they sent it to my address it wouldn't have got to him, obviously) they want me to repay £5k. Keep on top of the paperwork!

Stay strong SFH - you need to get this done, and then you can get on with your life. Can yuo call any of your girlfriends to have a bottle with you tonight, and hve a mini celebration? I was in the enviable position of already knowing when he walked out that that was the end - I had chance to get used to it, and if I'm fair I already saw him as a burden thanks to his insistence on playing funny-b*ggers and getting himself committed to a mental ward (before you all leap on me, I have all the time in the world for the mentally ill, but this man was just a sh*t and couldn't face up to the fact that he was, and so blamed it on some mystery illness).

You guys will all come out of this well, and will look back and say 'Gosh, remember when I was all broken up over [insert comedy name for ex]. OMG what a fool I was, now look at me. David Tennant - bring me more peeled grapes, and tell John Barrowman to fan me faster.'
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

  • Good luck at the solicitors SFH

Didn't have too bad a night woke up at 2am, but managed to get back to sleep.
He's already text me this morning - "any sign of the mouse?" just replied no not yet.
I think the tide is turning;) , shame I've got solicitors tomorrow.
Well I won't sign anything, i'll just take the free advice & say I'll get back to them.
I really feel like this is going to work:T Hope my gut feeling is right.

On a downer my Sister has had to go to hospital the last 2 nights running, she's going through a lot of stress with her divorce,me, son failed A levels, my dad, nan & she's just got over breast cancer. Well she's had a bad neck & felt really ill the other night she went into spasms & her body went numb down one side, she thought she'd had a stroke, also her "bad" boob swelled up & was really painful - they ran tests & couldn't find anything, last night she had to go again as by now delirious, & they've said she has mastitis & have given her some more stronger pain killers, & antibiotics.
Hope the tablets kick in quickly - have spoken to my Dad & said how ill she is he said, what am I going to do with my life? I said look after yourself & stop drinking, because Sis is too ill to look after you & I can't either at the moment, we've got enough on our plates & what you are doing is self inflicted, he said yes I'll try, so hopefully he will.
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Married my best friend 15/4/16 :)

Well, I just caled my mum - in France - on hols!! I couldn't not tell her anymore!! My dads a retired copper and he says that the estate isn't as bad as it used to be and they also said they'l wire me some money if I need it!! They also called him all names under the sun!! Off to CAB now, am oing to whip round and check out the new palce first. The housing people have given me an extention on deciding whether to take it or not- so thats good and they are going to call me later to confirm if it can be taken as a single application. Feel better now I've told me Mumbut feel cruddy also for spoiling their hols!!
