It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • I have loads of veg downstairs should really make some

Especially if you have a slow cooker!
I'm making a batch of my ham & veg broth with chunky potatoes as we speak! full of goodness, easy to slurp, great to freeze batches.

  • Hi Kizzy, sounds tough hon. do change the locks, and good for you on the job front, one less thing to worry about.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • SFH - give me a ring hun;) I'll call you back I get free calls up to an hour, mind you I don't usually only stay on there that long:o my phone bill is going to be horendous this month, even with the free calls!
Buffy he definately hasn't got any spare keys & actually he has got the right to live here still! so won't push on that one.
He hasn't actually said he's in love with her, but he didn't say, no I'm not missing her or anything to that effect, you are right it will probably all fizzle out when she has to wash his pants, but it will probably be too late by then.
Though I know everyone will think I'm mad, I saw a broken man today, who doesn't know what the hell he is doing.
I still care about him, & still love him.
Thanks for that info Bank of slate - I'm going to print that off & give him a copy, not nastily, just for the benefit of our children
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Hi Kizzy, just been catching up with everything that has happened to you. Are you sure your husband didn't used to be my husband? The story is so similar. He went away to work to ear megga bucks, he came home after a year, things not right and three months after living through hell I find out about the ugly one! We divorced and he's still with her but it's nt through choice. This all happened 6 years ago and he is still sorry for what he has done. The woman he left me for was 20 years older than me and she was so ugly that I'd have been happier if he'd have left me for a man :)

After being on my own for about 6 weeks after he left I finally woke up one morning and decided that I deserved much better and I haven't looked back since. I'm now with a man (who used to be husbands boss) and not only does he look after me but he respects me and he's made me realise what a jerk ex husband really was.

I know that you think that the 'feeling better' feeling is a long way off but I just want you to now that we're all thinking of you and we all know you deserve to be with someone better than this low-life. The chances are that if he can do this to his wife and the mother of his children he will do it to anyone else he meets. I know for a fact that my ex has been carrying on with every tom !!!!!! and harry whilst he's been with the ugly one.

My ex has had nothing but bad luck since the day he left me whereas I've gone from strength to strength and you will do the same.

Keep your chin up honey in time you'll look back on this and realise that it's happened for a reason because there's somebody better just around the corner for you.
