why are you trying to be mature and fair - you don't have to be.... this wasn't started by you.

If you need to express how you feel, write him a letter and read it out to him. For God's sake, DONT let him keep it.

As for him making athings easier with the kids etc. TELL HIM WHAT YOU WANT. You've got a short window of opportunity whilst he's still feeling guilty, get the plans in place now and then if it's disrupted, he'll be the one doing the disrupting of an established routine and agreement

DB - Yes I have positive moments, I know I look good for my age, especially now I've lost weight had my hair done & I'll admit I make a lot more effort on my appearance, but then I always did for him, but when he was away, it never bothered me that my clothes were old & crap!
I got a lot of attention the other night too, which was such a boost.
But then I think - I'm 38 have 2 kids, saggy t its, the most unlucky family ever - all doom & gloom, who's really going to want me?
Then i think there must be some nutter somewhere:D

I've got photos of us as a family up in the dining room, i might change them to ones with just the kids & perhaps put a photo of him in each of thier bedrooms, so for one I don't have to see how happy we were & another IF I ever have a "friend" around, they don't have it rubbed in thier face, mind you that won't be for a long time, gotta get my lasoo out yet & catch one!

Folks, I feel like an ex-OH the way I've been dipping in and out of the thread the past few days but I just wanted to explain, It's literally been a week since he did the right thing and fcuked off out of the house instead of playing mind games and making me throw him out. I'm coming down with visitors and phone calls everynight telling me the same useless platitudes. (he'll regret it etc. ) so what if he does, I can't get the past 3 weeks back never mind the past 12 years....

Anyhoo, I'm still trying to get stuff sorted too and will more than likely be dipping in for the next wee while. Don't be offended if I suddenly disappear and reappear, I'm probably caught up with visitors.

Going to go get some sleep. FFA is taking DS tomorrow from 10am ! I can't believe I'll get the first break I've had all week.

See - there's definitely some postivitiy in there. You just gotta let it out and start looking forward to the stuff you don't know yet.

Solicitors next week. My sis is coming with me, I really want to get this sorted, I told him i was going to file for divorce 1st October the day the 1st new mortgage payment comes out - he keeps going on about going to a mediator about the kids, i said i'll sort that out once it's filed you can do that after anyway i think & I'm not going to the mediator he says I'm going to, as i said to him, you can't tell me what to do anymore!
Robster glad you're having a great time & yes you are a real positive energy on here you are so upbeat all the time.

All I can say is....Ask him to look after them, when we all go away for our girlie weekend!!!!!!

Why don't we do it, the weekend his girlfriend is home, next year.....
