  • Forgot to say Sis scan on her boob looks clear, she didn't get home unitil 5.30pm, her appointment was 11.45.
They are going to scan/ultrasound it again when her infection goes down, but they really think that there is no sign of her cancer coming back, just a really bad infection.
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

I'm glad everything is going well for your sister. It puts other peoples problems into perspective.

  • Hi
Have you been to citezens advice, because of your income they should be able to give you leaflets and advice on some finicial options, its rubish all this your going through and the last thing you want to do is read leaflets on stuff that feels horrible to contimplate but maybe jusy going to talk to them will give you at least some answers.

Sorry for what your going through, if you have got 2 kids and been a great mum which it sounds you are, YOU CAN GET THROUGH ANYTHING!!

    lots of hugs
  • I had an appointment with CAB & where my head is not screwed on at all I forgot to go, which after waiting a couple of weeks for it is awful & knowing how stretched they are, I feel really bad about it. So I daren't ring them again. Got my phone bill for last month & up to the 8th of this month £93.56:eek: still got my stalking night phone calls to be added & loads of calls where he kept putting the phone down on me, so cost everytime I re-connected, so I expect at least the same again - now being very careful to stay under 60 mins which is free & not to ring mobiles if poss, I've put loads on my mobile too. Glad I've got this forum, or it would be even more

  • Ok, I need some advice about how often I should let my ex see DS.

He currently works shifts 4 days on shift and 4 off. DS is due to start Nursery on Monday and we've already agreed that he shouldn't be taken out of his routine during the week so overnight stays will be when he's off at the weekend only.

Should I let him see our son every day that he's off. Because he swaps between night and day shifts, some weeks he'll only see him 3 days and some weeks it will be 4.

    Help!
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Well time to put my feet up and catch up with everyone. I did something not so good tonite! Ex picked son up from nursery and brought him home - he was going to stay until his bed time. He came in and made 2 phone calls on my phone which I will be paying the bill for, then plugged his mobile phone in to charge on my damn electric!  I tried to ignore this for now as didn't want to start an argument in front of son. He was watching Dora with DS and DH kept moaning about how hungry he was - there was no way I was offering him tea. Then half way through sons tea he decided that he should get his pjs on.. This just ended up with DS getting really upset again as wanted to see the end of Dora first. DS was screaming and crying and asking for me again, then he tried to kick his dad while his dad pinned him down - don't condone the kicking but his dad smacked him which really p**sed me off:mad: Still trying hard not to interfere but then DH picked up DS and took him to his room... At this point I lost it and shouted that there was no way DS was going to bed that early in that state. DH stormed out of the house saying "don't shout at me in front of DS ever again!"  I'm so bloody angry with him!! DS had got a star at nursery for being so good and was named the star of the class for being so good - considering what the poor little sod's going through he's doing great. !!!!!! is wrong with his father? Everytiime he spends more than 10 minutes with him he has him in tears!!! Would it be wrong for me to tell him to FO and not see his son until he has a better attitude? I'm sick of him upsetting him all the time. No wonder he never asks where daddy is, he's probably as glad to see the back of him as I am. We read 5 books together and he went off to bed happy again!
Sorry to go on but I can't believe how angry I feel now!!:wall:

Gert - those glasses are great - I can't believe they were such a bargain.
Kizzy - glad your sis is ok :j
