  • HI DB, yes get that sorted whilst they are still in the guilty stage

I unfortunately have to wait for mortgage to kick in but will be going to 2nd solicitor ( wasn't keen on 1st ) next wednesday

Feel ok tonight, will definately go to C/Tax tomorrow, & library to get some books that have been mentioned on here yesterday, if I can find the post!

But like everyone on this thread that's going through this my emotions are up & down all the time, some nights I'm really lonely, others like tonight I'm OK.
Weekends are the worst for me I hate them.

I hope you are feeling ok, yes it's best to be amicable, but I think it's really difficult to decide things as there are so many scenarios they might come about as in - he'll pay the mortgage until kids leave further ed, but if I marry they have to take it on - the what portion of equity should ex get? etc
There are many others too boring to mention, I just wonder if there's somewhere that has examples of how to split things as I think it's really difficult
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Married my best friend 15/4/16 :)
  • Good for SFH - they're so annoying

Glad to hear the kizzy's neighbour was so kind and you do right to make him fight for you. That's why my marriage is over - ex never made any attempt to reconcile or fight for me... he can get lost for all I care
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

    Hi everyone,

been trying to keep up but there's so much to say... but nothing useful to add compared to some of the advice & stories on here.

Went to see a solicitor today to see how to go forward. She's agreeable to represent me but thinks that I should try to keep things amicable for as long as possible. Might try and sit down with the ex to sort out maintenance and access to ds sooner rather than later.

How are you all feeling this evening?

Yip get it sorted ASAP as I did and now not sure if he would agree the same.

My ex was amicable regarding the children, seeing them and having them stop over until I filed for divorce on the grounds of adultery. :)

The little !!!!!! never paid a penny towards the mortgage or anything from the day he walked out the door. He was a complete and utter !!!!!!. Always more difficult when there are three people involved.

The solicitors know what they can ask for and the court judges know what is fair and reasonable.
