Hope you are OK SFH - I'm guessing you're having a lie in as DS not going to school;)
Hope he's a bit better today.
I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can put stuff on the line then of to the C/Tax office.
Will need to go food shopping too really, see how I get on, I really don't know what I'm doing, yesterday I put my Son's name on my nephews birthday card instead of nephew's & today they are all paying for a school trip & I sort of remember reading the letter but forgot about it, will have to take it in later today!
Kids have got a party to go to tonight so must get a birthday card & some wrapping paper have already got something in my pressy stash to give him.

SSS is currently living at his boss/friends house who incendently is DD godfather, yet he knew what was going on!!! !!!!!!!!
His friend is never there as he has a new girlfriend now and spends most of his time at her house. SSS says he sleeps on the sofa cos its comfy, don't know why cos there is a spare room there. He was going on Sat night about how he's got a 52" plasma screen, x-box, wii, etc etc, blah, blah..he just wants boys toys..well he can have them..and I'll get 'girls toys'!! hehe

Hope you and DS are feeling a bit better today SFH.
Kizzy, don't worry about forgetting stuff..I do it all the time!!

Gert it's really horrible that he knew what was going on! I suppose, it must be really difficult to be put in that position, DFS's friend has met me once & kids & could see how happy we all were & then I suppose had to see what was going on & not know what to do about it. I wish he'd told me though, he might not have become so involved.
Yippe plasma screen - you've got 2 lovely children I think i know what I'd rather have, about time he grew up!
SFH - have a good day be back soon - well if the queue's not too bad at C/Tax office

ds now telling me again he aint eating,asked him what he would like said a cheese and ham toasty,made it for him and he let it cool down and now picking at it,so as long as he is eating I do not care what it is.

I think so Jules he is now saying I am taking him away from him etc and he could have spent time in hols,oh whatever silly man I am going and one day you will realise what you have lost.

Weather here is horrendous also! Am sooo cold!! Jumper time I think!! hehe!!

Yes defo time to kick into touch and I'm actually still saying the same today - which is unusual, normally I'm chopping and changing everyday.
Still not heard from him, will text him after lunch to remind him to pick DS up from school. Postie not come yet, so don't know if emergency giro got sent out or not. If it doesn't come, will go to my ma's for tea, if it does I'm going out for tea!! Going to treat myself to some nice salmon pasta with a nice glass of white wine from the local italian. I love living so close to town centre, only 5 mins walk!! Will take a good book with me, and pick up the others from the library. Am looking forward to having some 'me' time!!

My friend from Facebook has invitied me down to London for a weekend, that's going to be loads of fun!! hehe - haven't decided when I'm going yet, sometime in October I think. Just going to call the Open University people, see if I can do any courses whilst on IS.
Onwards and upwards girlies!

Goodness, you all sound so busy and upbeat today - well done you lot!

Meant to send replys last night but friends landed inso I had to go. Had an appointment with Occupational health from work this morning. Didn't get to bed till late so I'm knackered. At least they've understood the need for me to be off work until DS is in nursery full time - he really needs stability right now. He had a nightmare at 6 o'clock this morning and was crying for his dad (the !!!!!!). I comforted him as best as I could and he went back to sleep thank goodness.

You guys are a lot further along in your separations - maybe you could tell me, how do you cope with the fun stuff that makes you laugh and you want to share with your ex? I've had a couple of really good belly laughs in the last couple of days with DS's antics and went to phone him but remembered at the last minute that we've split. He's missing out on so much fun with DS depsite the fact that he says he loves him, it's just awful!

Gert- looking for girls toys sounds like fun. I might join in. If you find any good ones let me know

Giros come - I am now officially in recipet of IS. Roll on the good times!!!
I'm not glad really - but £235 in a lump sum is good!! means I can now get my budget sorted out - £60.50 per week IS £93 per week CTC.Going to sort out C/Tax tomorrow etc etc.

Its really hard delly and today I look like crap ,feel like crap am so tired it is unbeliavable and yes have those feelings also about going to phone etc and some days i still do call him others do not,it is going to be one long hard struggle though there will be light at end of tunnel
I am trying to throw stuff in bags for me and ds to get to oz ,do not care if ironed or not as it will be well crushed before we go,going to get it sorted next few days as feel I am coming down with cold also and then can rest until time to go

You could share the "funny little moments" on here and could also write them down in a special book so you know all the things DH (Disgraceful Heap) is and will be missing out on.
