Kizzy please don't worry about that if the man is good to you and the kids then they will get on, it obviously wil take some time to build the relationship but it does happen. Dad and i have had our ups and downs believe me. I am his daughter and he my father in our eyes. you're children will remain close to DFS so therefore it won't be as cut and dried as in my case but your children could end up with 2 very stable, loving father figures in their lives which can only be a bonus for them.
My dad has bought me up, paid for my shoes and clothes, even gave me a career to follow him into. He didn't have to, but he did. Had the SD stuck around that would have been 2 very positive influences I would've had in my life.
Your children will be fine in the long run and so will you too!! xx

I think this is a control thing, he's really trying to stop you from going away, you haven't been ringing him either so he feels he's losing control - well GOOD!

I agree, get him out of your house now - ask him to leave politly, if he won't then threaten to call the police, then if he still won't, ring the damn police. This is your house now, and he faces losing you, ds, the house everything forever if he carries on like this.

Trying not to think back to the old him & think of what he's done to me & how he'd been having fun whilst I scrimped & scraped, struggled with no help grieved for my mum & pined for him. It makes it easier

Have you chased up your IS papers yet?
It was so satisfying today to know they are going to pay..it opens up so many more doors that were closed before. I've never really been one for claiming benefits but I need to now, for my kids and for me.

Kizzy when you do get to see your solicitor take a list of questions you want to ask and points you need clarifying.
A solicitors time is expensive even with legal aid and there is nothing worse than getting home, realising your head is buzzing and you didn't get answers to all your questions.

SFH I hope the little man is feeling better soon. Its so difficult to look after them when you are struggling to make sence of things yourself.
