I see what you mean Kizzy!
Glad you ate something, you need to look after yourself like you said you have the children to look after.
Im glad you hadnt cooked for him as your sending him the message that you are accepting what he has said and getting on with looking after your kids and yourself.
He may well be ill but that isnt your fault and you cant !!!!!foot around his feelings unless he gets help.If he gets help you can be there for him, but at the moment you shouldnt enable him to get away with bad behaviour because he may be ill.
Your doing a great job, you should be proud of yourself, your children have a great mum and if he lets you go its his loss and im sure he will deeply regret it.

Hi Kizzy. Glad you were able to eat something. Didn't intend to sound critical in my last post. I know how difficult it is for you right now. The fact that DH can walk away and just see to his own needs leaves you with all the responsibility for looking after your children's and your own needs entirely. All the more reason to focus on you and the children and minimise your stresses.

Take care and look after yourself - you are doing great!

Well tomorrow, I've got to clean out the hamsters & take them around to SIL, where he's staying & bring him back here to stop the night ( on the sofa of course ) as we need to leave fairly early Saturday morning for our flight.
So this will be the last evening I'll be posting on here, but will probably post during the day tomorrow.
I will really miss having all of your help & advice whilst we're away, DH said hope the hotel's alright ( doom & gloom ), I said well I'm going to make the most of it whatever it's like because I NEED a holiday, he was like oh yeah, yeah, me too. The kids will be happy & if they are happy so am I!
SIL went a year ago to Italy & said the blokes were just staring at her & her friend, not that I'm interested, but will do my ego the world of good & might make him worry a bit;) I shall just poke my tongue out at people they are bound to turn around then:rotfl: ( I think I saw that in the film Easter Parade!!? )

a few there to last the holiday.

Two things you need to remember

    1. You haven't done anything wrong. You have worked really hard and looked after your (lucky) kids and your family.
    2. What ever is wrong with him or "up" with him is no reflection on you.

and then you need to post A LOT when you come home cos I shall be worried about you.

I have to clean my hamsters out too. hmmmm. not the best job ever bless them.

I really hope you and the kids ( and begrudingly ) him have a good holiday, I think you are very brave to do this I really do.

Hi Kizzy, im sooo sooo proud of you for going out today, you did absoloutley fabulous, english summers eh? And im also proud as punch that youve eaten, are you sure you wouldnt like some chocolate cheesecake, it'll stop me eating it, youll be doing me a favour lol, no, seriously you will!!! You have the most fantastic holiday with the kids, ignore him(that), sorry to sound harsh, but well, you know. it might be great if you go off on your own and do the things that the kids want to a few times, and with that you be a little kid too, always makes us feel self conscious, but hey, who cares, you are in a different country, they think us english are wierd anyway lol, you enjoy every moment, if he makes you feel sad/bad, you go off with the kids. We are all here for you when you get back, also when youre away if you can pull yourself away from the sun to let us know how youre getting on, in a internet cafe with the goregous tanned men serving you coffee, and youre kids eating knicker bocker icecreams with sparklers in lol. I mean it, id like you to have the most fantastic memories from this holiday, for everyone thats stuck in the english rain. We are here for you, thinking off you in your bikini looking orange lol. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, and as my little mantra goes, turn off your phone for the night hun, put it on top of that cupboard. Thinking of you and sending love xxxxxxxx (and dont forget the suntan lotion lol)xxx
