Gert - your head should always win in this situation - it is there to protect you. If your gut feeling is that there is no way back then there is no way back.
You have got time on your side (well done for setting a deadline btw) but I would spend your time listening to your head rather than your heart. The heart never applies logic or gut feeling to any situation.

I do think that the more you think about it and the more you talk about it, the faster that piggin' little hamster is pedalling in that wheel going round in your head.

You'll just have to do what feels best for you and your family- be that head or heart.

I understand your concern about your OH's lies, it's not a good sign for the future.
I think if it were me, I would have to let him know that I know the full extent of his lies - and that the lies are jeopardising the future together.

I have told him in the email. I said "and there was more than two porno sites you looked at today, just been through them and there are over twenty on there!! And they don't all open from one site. I don't understand why you have to continue lying, even about silly stupid stuff like that!!

I do hope he thinks about it, which is why I sent it in an email rather than face to face. My heart and part of my head does want to be with him, but I can't if all he is doing to do is lie, lie and lie. Wheres the relationship there?!?! I do hope he thinks about it and does come to the right conclusion for him and if that differs from mine, then I'll have to deal with that if and when it happens.
Sometimes I sit here and think why the f**k do I want him and then again I sit here and think of all we've been through and how we were so happy and I'm sure we can get that back if things change, but then thats a BIG IF!! isn't it?!?!
So effing confuddled and I'm not going to think about it anymore tongith, cos yes after a week on the wagon(minus Saturday night), I've had a drink!! Only two so far, but trying not to carry on. May go and watch TV for a while cos there ain't no fridge in the lounge!!

I asked him what he was doing this weekend, just making conversation, cos he gets paid tomorrow, he said he was going to the pics on Friday night with his friend called M, I do know of him, but I'm wondering if she's going out that night aswell and I'm literally sat on my hands so as not to call her fella to see if she's going out that night aswell!! Hw bad is that!!
