Just a note of warning - putting your email address on the main section of the forum will make it public not just to other users but also to spiders that search for email addresses from sites to send spam mail and viruses. It may be safer to just have it in your profile rather than on the board.

I think you are all doing very well

Jules, I honestly have no idea how anyone can be a human and be as low as your OH. And with a friend too. that is so gross

TLF really really sorry hun that your OH did that. How old are your children, would they even understand what a girl friend is in this context?

Kizzy well done for not phoning. I bet it is driving him up the wall.

SLF good luck with keeping strong. You will be going to Oz at a nice time of year. Ie it is nice and warm but not TOO warm yet. What part of OZ you going to?

Gert glad to see you are still working through things. Families have a go because they are worried sick about you. Parents especially maybe should bite their tongues more, but you will always subconsciously be their baby, so their worry is understandable.

Gert it is from Are you Being Served. He was the person who owned the Department Store that the others worked at.

His catch phrase (said in a quavering voice), was 'you're all doing very well'

Chip that means we are both showing our age!!!!

  • Hello all, Just logged in again and wanted to wish Gert all the best with the new start. I know from experience that this isn't any easy decision to make, but it has worked for me and OH and I are now very happy and much stronger for having been through so much. I hope it all works out for you Gert.
Hope everyone else is doing okay and that the music is helping. Will be back again soon. xx
  • Went to town to find "perfect outfit for Friday" of course couldn't find it & guess who I bumped into................................ DFS!!!
Asked how I was & the kids was stuffing his fat moon face with a sausage roll:rotfl: asked if I wanted one? I said no, they make you fat!
He said is it alright for Friday still? I must have sounded a bit strong, because I said YES!!!, I'm going out!!!, he said alright, alright:D
He asked if he could walk with me I said yes, then I asked him why he lied about being around his Mum's he said he said it wrong & didn't bother to correct it!! another lie I expect, I said don't lie to me there's no point anymore.
then walked into Primark & said BYE! he shouted after me Bye - see you Friday!!
I can't believe he was down there, he was on his lunch break, works fairly nearby, but doesn't go into town much ( or didn't )
Gert - hope you are OK, you are going to have your moments, keep at it girl!
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

I'm okay, DD had a great time at pre-school just a pity its only for 2.5 hours a day. She got a sticker for knowing her alphabet!! All those kiddie cd's must have done their trick!! Made choc-chip cookies with DS whilst DD was at pre-school, just had lunch and I've got a headache and all I wanna do is lie down but I can't GRRR.
Might just stick a video and then I can have an hours rest on the sofa. Haven't even done anything strenuous and was in bed by 9ish last night. Maybe I'm coming down with something.

Ds off school today as some in service teacher training so father in law took him out for a few hours as mother in law was worried about me.

Then booked flight to London for oz etc and read that sometimes airlines over booked etc etc and freaked out,I am flying on a Sunday mid morning to give myself plenty of time as flight not until late evening,Called BA the women was very kind and said do not worry as on a Sunday all should be fine and advised me to check in online day before etc ,so I shall do that.
It is like every little thing is confusing me and in between told the t w a t I am not a scumbag like him and I will now dictate when he speaks to my child,so told him to call before 7pm or there will be no contact, got verbal abuse but hell who cares
Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream
