TLF - the way I stopped my Husband using our account was to go to the bank & say he'd lost his debit card, first woman said he'd have to ring or come in.
But spoke to bloke on another counter & said he worked away at sea ( well he used to! ) had no phone signal only email & that's why I had to cancel it & he did it straight away no problems.
When the replacement card comes it will be to your address, so you will then have it.
I think you were really brave & amazing to go to her house, I don't think I could, unless it was to trash the place!!
It's weird how he keeps changing his tune as well - sounds really mixed up, but then I think they all are.
Jules, don't do a thing for him, I know you want to because you are used to it & also you think cooking him a nice meal he'll see how nice it is to be at home. Don't do any washing - nothing. I watch my husband pack, he said do you have to be here, I just said Yes! I think it made him really uncomfortable;)
Keep all your strength for all the hard times ahead, it will be hard for you, but do you know what if your Son is round your parents, & he isn't there for the birth,he will not be having a good time. Also if it were me I wouldn't even tell him when I was going in for the c-section, though I might let someone else "accidently" tell him & then I'd wait for him to call me.

Get in touch with the bank straight away this morning, ask them to cancel the account or at least his card and get yor own set up. Contact benefit people, child tax credit and council tax. Then take a deep breath and cry - cos you will want to and it is normal!! Keep going TLF - YOU ARE DOIN GREAT!
Julie - you will feel better when he has left - you'll have a really bad night the first night and then after that it does get easier, you can do what you want in your own home, cook wat you want for tea, watch what you want etc. Hope it goes okay today at the hospital.
SFH - Keep strong, you are doing really well
Kizzy - Another weekend gotten through- weeks are easier cos you have to be busy for the kids.
I feel ths week is gong to be a turning point for me, cos now I can get the kids into a routine as they start school etc this week.
Take care everyone - speak laterMade it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -
Bit of an oldie, but woke up thinking of this song - reminds me of being little with my grandparents, but very good words

Morning all... hope you girls and the token bloke are all well....:D
While we're sharing songs, here's one that gives me a boost. Some of the partially-adapted lyrics have been at the bottom of my sig now for a while and they're so true. I heard this record for the first time in years when driving through London two or three weeks ago, it's a very special indeed. Please wait until the whole video finishes, there's a funny twist at the end....:D

My ex g/f loved the band and the song but my older two children really got me into it. If I ever, ever feel low about the relationships that I've had finishing, I stick this into the CD player in the car, crank the volume up to 22 and bellow it out while imagining I'm up on stage singing it and she is in the audience. I make damn sure that she makes eye contact during my "song dream" and it seems to help me. Quite simply, it is my favourite song of all time. It sums up my life really..... in tune with my older children, glad to get rid of the ex g/f who lied and deceived and on to a better life alone...:T:j
Finally, same band, different song, same feelings. MCR have a knack of touching me where others don't. Try the lyrics in the chorus...."I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone...", more for those who have chosen the solo route but still good advice.0 -
Took the kids to school DS was terrible crying half the way there I want my Daddy etc, it makes me sick to my stomach. I got my phone out to ring him, but stopped myself, after all what is he going to do?
I spoke to DS's teacher & told her what was going on in case he's upset later, she was pleased that I told her, so she doesn't just think it's because he's just back at school. So if there are any problems they will ring me.
Going to go to the shops now, will walk as not raining & will get a bit of fresh air, feeling just as s h i t as before, but going to push myself to go & also WILL NOT PHONE HIM!!!Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

DD said she was sad this morning and she didn't want to speak to him on the phone this morning. Maybe I'm not doing the right thing, letting them speak to him all the time and wanting to try to make a go of it!! Oh I don't know. On the up side, I won a tarot reading so maybe that will give me some answers?!?!
Just going to make some cakes with DS cos he's upset that DD has gone to school today and he doesn't start until tomorrow!!
Already been to the shops - bought stuff for fish pie tonight for tea - brain food!! hahaMade it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -
Morning all, hope you guys managed to get some sleep. I am hoping that you all can get the support you need from someone, to help you cope. My fingers are crossed for you all. Keep posting your thoughts tho, there is always someone here for you even if it's just to listen.
Kizzy thanks for message, check your facebook. And Gert I have added you too!
Will check in with you all later, gonna drop son off at train station, do some shopping and get a bit of gardening done, for some unknown reason the sun has decided to come out, and when the sun is out, I'm out!
