  • Afternoon all...

Just been catching up with the many pages of posts...

SFH... blimey with friends like that who needs enemies huh!! Maybe she felt that she could be that honest with you because you're not with him anymore? Whatever the case, it really doesn't change anything for you.

Kizzy - still loving the feistyness in you and I very much hope that the DFS is having a rotton weekend!

Gert - keep talking hun, it's the only way to move it forward

For the new ladies, I'm so sorry that you're also having to go through this. It's so painful, so hurtful and such a worry as to know what to do and when, but please remember tne following Eleanor Roosevelt quote:

'Women are like tea bags, drop them in hot water and just see strong they get!'

Best of everything to you all!
  • Afternoon Chip - so glad you've joined us:D

Sorry, Kizzy, subtle as a sledgehammer sometimes....

I hadn't realised she'd said it previously when sober. I've just looked right back over the last few days posts and she hadn't mentioned that this "friend" had said it before when she was sober. The first time she mentions it is after my post... sorry SFH...First of all, the friend said her OH was attractive, that's all. I'd have taken that as a compliment, I think....:D Trancebabe has it spot on, it was a comment she'd never have made when SFH was with her OH and the drink loosened her tongue.

  • SFH, ditch that Biatch, she may have been a bit drunk, but unless she apologises, she sounds like she has more probs than you.......

Try to get positive, honest, vibrant feel good peeps around you, surely you must know 1? If you truly don't know anyone babe, pm me, and we will hook up on facebook. I am not perfect, but I am a super down to earth, pragmatic with loads of family and friends, who are exactly the same. Through some of the darkest times of my life, I have laughed so much, my sides have ached.....

I hate to see you in so much turmoil.

  • Haven't done much at all today, a bit of housework, got bits ready for school, rang my Sister, and spoke to SFH.
Went & got milk & petrol, but that's it.
    My hard exterior is crumbling

    Nevertheless she persisted.
