Oh kizzy I was so hoping it would go your way.You had to try, you would never have known otherwise.But now I feel you need to get tough.
Go to a solicitor, make your IS claim, get the csa involved and organise strict visiting for the children.Dont let him visit whenever he wants and no hand holding, ignore his texts and play everything by the book.
You were being over generous giving him a chance and he has blown it, you are worth so much more.Let her have him, sooner or later he will come grovelling to you and when he does here is what you need to do, sleep with him (one more time wont hurt) and make sure she finds out, then tell him you will never have him back and tell her that he done it to you and she should have known he would do it to her, and while we are at it make sure you let her know that tonight he begged you to take him back and you said no way so she has sloppy seconds, lie lie lie make her an insecure wreck.
He is a !!!!!! and you need to show him the tough kizzy.

Kizzy don't forget she probably hasn't told her husband yet, or had to face anyone else, I bet it will all be a different story in a few months. By then you will be feeling stronger and will be able to watch the fallout

Do you know what, the hand holding was not only leading you on but also your DD. What was he thinking surely he knew that would get her hopes up. Children see things much simpler and surely she thought everything is going to be ok from that action! Is he selfish, cruel or thick? Or all three?

Time to start having things on your terms now.

i am so sorry to hear the news kizzy, i really do know how your feeling.
but the others are right he will be the ultimate loser in the end.
i would like to bet come april she wont even want him, i bet she has done this many times and im not being prejudis (spelt wrong!) but if im right in thinking she travels alot/works on ships she prob has one in every port!! tart!!

but by april when he gets the shock of his life, you will have moved on quite a bit and prob met george clooney!!

I've just been talking to Kizzy on the phone - shes okay - sad and unhappy but we are stronger than that and better than that and we ARE going to get through this- aren't we girls?!?!

I don't know what to say really, other than I'm sorry your hubby has planned to be with someone else over a lovley person like you! :wall:

He's so blind, she wont love him anymore than you clearly do and he's tossing away a chance to stay true to the promises he made the day he married you!

It's 10 ish years since my hubby had an affair and left (he came back after 6 weeks and I forgave but never forgot, the trust was gone and we divorced) and a couple of weeks ago he said 'I'm no happier now that I was when we were together'

We still talk (have a DD together) and hearing that saddened me because even though I called an end to the relationship, I didn't want any of it to be that way.

Having said that, he might not be happier - but I AM! I have a wonderful man to share my life with and you will again too.

Reality will bite him sometime soon...

Hang in there Kizzy - it's hard but with or without him, you'll be just fine!
