Marriage over don't know where to start

Hi
I have been reading this post and I was hoping that today would bring a good outcome for you Kizzy----I am really sorry to hear this and hope you will find the strength and courage to move forward. I just wanted to briefly tell you a tale which may not help now but in months to come you may find it some comfort.
When i met my husband(second husband i might add and a lovely bloke that is 100 times better than my ex!!) some 15 years ago his wife had just left him. She had been seeing someone behind his back whilst he worked to give her everything she wanted. She brought this bloke home whilst he was on night shift and their young son was sleeping in the next room.
Anyhow, suffice to say the marriage ended, despite my husband pleading and begging her and her saying she wasnt sure etc etc. She then went on to marry this bloke and they had a child together. In the meantime, hubby meets me and he says it was the best thing she did leaving him. When she got wind that he was seeing me, she stopped him seeing his son(long story and not really too relevant so i wont go in to it all). She made our lives very difficult as she wouldnt let him see his son, and she was constantly pushing for more maintenance. Anyhow, fast forward 7 years and her hubby leaves her. By now she had had a child to him and their son was then 16 years old and hadnt seen his dad for 7 years. She called round at our house(hey this is totally unbelievable i know!!!) and said to hubbie that she was now on her own and if things between us(we had been married 3 years then and together for nearly 7!!!) werent ok she would HAVE HIM BACK. Soooo who had the last laugh!!
I hope you can see what i am getting at. You WILL BE OK. YOU WILL MEET A LOVELY MAN and life will be good. OH on the other hand will probably end up like my husbands ex.
A sad lonely person.
His ex now is on her own ---working full time and a single mum to her young daughter. So what goes around comes around----dont forget that!!!
Take care hunny xxxxSealed pot challenge 7...my number is 2144.....started Nov 29th ....0 -
Hi Kizzy,
I have been following your thread for some time now but haven't posted.
I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear that things haven't worked out. He is missing out on being with an amazing indididual an he needs his head testing.
My sister is currently going through a similar situation and we as a family are extremely concerned about her.
She never eats, drinks copious amounts to dull the pain. Her mind is constantly focused on what her husband is upto and who he is with.
It's a complicated story but basically she found out he had at least 3 affairs (that she knows of) She is still trying to save her marriage.
He blows hot and cold constantly and in my opinion he is stringing her along and messing with her head and heart (he isn't a nice person) but it's her life and she will not listen to any advice. I have asked her to come on here and speak to you lovely folks but as far as she's concerned he'll come good eventually so why bother. I just hate to see her pining away for him only to be kicked to the kerb whenever he feels fit.
For years we have thought he has been mentally abusing her, he is a very manipulative man.
What can I do to help her???Supporting the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust0 -
