Oh Gert, how upsetting, my niece (10 ) was worried she wouldn't see her cousins again!
DH is living with her at the moment & DS said to me daddy doesn't want to be my daddy anymore he wants to be XXX (nieces ) daddy.
It's awful, because you don't know how much of this they understand.
SFH, your poor DS is really suffering isn't he? glad he's enjoying school, have you had chance to speak to anyone at the school yet?

It is funny how emotions change as I am very very angry tonight ,my ds spoke to him earlier though he wanted to say night and guess what his phone is switched off:rolleyes:must be great haveing no ties anymore.

Hope I get an answer soonish, I bet he'll drag this on for days, not the most decisive person I've ever known.
I'm glad in a way he's not rushing into things, he's obviously making sure he feels he's doing the right thing, he wouldn't want to come back & leave again, that would be even worse for me & the kids especially.

Yeah I wish sometimes I was without ties, not cos I don't love my kids cos I effing do!!! They are the reason for waking up each day and not just crawling into a corner and dying - but wish I didn't have the responsibilty all the time cos they are OUR kids not just Mine!! Hence me going out Saturday night so he can get up at 5am with them and deal with them arguing over cereal etc etc

I just want to crawl into his(ds's) bed with him now and of him to cuddle me and tell me it's going to be okay - but it never will...will it.

Night Gert, me too I'm really tired tonight.
SFH - take care, can you not ask your husband to ring at bedtime to say goodnight to your son? It's the least he can do.

Kizzy you are so rational. I know you are finding it extremely hard but I hope your love of him, respect of him and your patience pays off you So deserve it.

Gert and SFH you are both doing so well despite how upset you both are tonight, keep posting, keep talking to anyone that will listen and keep hugging your children they will get you through this. Even though the men can walk away now and 'leave' the children they will miss out not you. they will miss so much and they run the risk of one day another man bringing up THEIR children and that is when their 'time' will come.
