Yar, I've developed a nasty habit of saying "yar" instead of "yes" and I really can't be arsed to stop it.

Jake: I was just messing about btw...

    Quick update :

had a text apologising & asking for one last no strings attached 'session'.

In the email I told the mother that if he didnt stop then I would contact the police ... I just rang them & an officer coming to visit me tomorrow afternoon to take statement, view the emails & texts.

Cant believe it's gone this far .

Good on you for deciding to take that step Lula, it will be hard to do but you have to stay firm. Take the maximum possible action first-time around and it will be far more effective than doing it half-heartedly for years.

    dodgy hugs :grouphug:

Lula, you have done the right thing, I think from his behaviour that a chat with the police will sort it very quickly and easily. would it be an idea to post the £50 back to him if possible? I think the police are used to these things and very good at dealing with them. Big hugs and well done, you are fighting back and that must be very empowering. xxx

Lula, just to add, any more texts and it might be an idea to tell him you have called the police?

That's a big step to take. I know how hard that step can be. If you hadn't taken it, this could have gone on for a very long time. I found it helpful after discovering that the police do a warning first as I didn't want the stress of being a witness in court.
I want to say well done but I imagine that you have done this with reluctance.
You should get the peace you deserve now.

Nah, gone too far now I'm not going to talk to him. I told him last week that if he didnt leave me alone then I would contact police. He replied that I would have to because he wasnt going to stop.

When I emailed his mother I told her about the calls, emails & the drive bys, said I was fed up with it & that if it didnt stop I would contact the police.

Think there's been enough warnings & I dont make idle threats - ask my children  .

I'm sad that it has come to this; that he really doesnt listen to a word I say & inspite of me telling him that it was harassment he's just continued. It shows that he's either not quite right or unbelievably arrogant.

One good thing is that i also have texts on my phone from a frined saying they cant beleive that I've managed to get rid of him because he never goes away...

I just hope he doesnt turn nasty if the police do pay him a visit, although I hink sarahs character assessment was pretty accurate.
