    Hi Paulgonnabedebtfree

Thanks for the manly advice! I think that as there was absolutely no physical contact on Sunday, and limited chance to talk, we managed to have our cold light of day moment last night, and it all feels good. We know what we're letting ourselves in for...

Re the alcohol thing...we'll he'd only had 2/3 pints because he had his daughter with him (she's under 10 - it was early evening) and I don't drink, so there wasn't really any blurring of reality!

We already have one big interest in common in that we're both mad ManU fans (that's a very attractive trait in a man :rotfl: )

I will, of course, update when there's something to report ;) I'm still all :D , even though I hardly slept for smiling!!

Hope it works out for you both. That non drinking stuff sounds good. I don't drink or smoke myself. I dread to think where my debts would be if I did. I like Man U as well. Showing my age but Bobby Charlton captured my imagination in the 66 World Cup. I was only 9. Then the European Cup a couple of years later. Can't really count myself as a supporter but I've always liked the ethic of playing with flair. I went to see them play a few times in London many years ago before the days of all ticket matches. Actually saw Best, Law and Charlton all on the pitch at the same time. Quite an achievement as Law was quite injury prone around that time. And here is a REAL rarity. I saw Nobby Stiles score. It was a late equaliser at Fulham. Not sure of the year but would be late 60s - perhaps the start of the 70s. An absolute collector's item that one.

Morning/evening peeps... what's going down in the hood? :D

I'm facing another incredibly boring day at work and now our kettle is fixed I have no excuse to go downstairs and walk past the stone-cold hottie who's working next to the kitchen down there.

TDQO, keep going to the downstairs kitchen anyway! If she asks why you're still using that kitchen, tell her you prefer the scenic route to your morning brew!!

Come on, the sun's shining! Make hay!!

I've got an interview/meeting (I pretty much have the job unless they take a dislike to me) on Friday at 10am :D

Unfortunately this means being at work by 6.30am for the 230km drive to the mine!! I'm very excited though cus when I get back my two school friends who are travelling will be waiting for me :D We're going to do a wine tour on Saturday so lots of wine, cheese and chocolate...
