Aww good times all round! Though make sure he gets the divorce nice and quick... I've known too many people that are still waiting for them to do it 3-4-5 years down the line!

He's already on the case. I'm not going to pressure him, though. [STRIKE]He needs[/STRIKE] We both need to just have a nice time right now - take it easy, see how it goes. No pressure, just fun. Been a long time coming. :o

Oh I love that feeling... enjoy

I'm with everyone on the 'can not diet' front. Every kind of emotion makes me want to eat crap or treat myself to chinese or choccy :( I've got to say though that money saving is helping because if I'm having a NSD I wouldn't dream of ruining it for chocolate or takeaway (how's that for dedication to becoming DF!)

First day back on the cack pants diet today and I must say I've done well. It wasn't easy but I got there in the end and I've come to bed early so I can't eat anything now. I didn't go to the gym though ...booo! Lula have you been a good girl today??

Surely between us we can come up with a plan:confused: 2009 is supposed to be my year. I don't want to spend it being overweight, surrounded by clothes I can't get into, book towers and toiletry mountains. I want to spend it being skinny surrounded by cocktails, intellectual men and European city landscapes.

Might it help if you think of your lbs gain like your £s gain? Took a while to build up and will take a while to go away. And like with clearing debt, we all know that it's the pennies that add up (like your £400 sealed pot). Maybe try and attach a lbs value to each treat, you know, Cadbury's Creme Egg = 1/4lbs weight gain. NOT having one won't make you lose weight, but NOT having one means it's a little less weight you'll gain (if you're like me, 1 Creme Egg becomes 3 because "well, I've had one, I may as well have them all....") It might help

Personally, I've just stopped buying nice things. I can never be bothered to get my shoes on and go to the shop to buy myself a treat!

    Right.

    here are my bright ideas.

    1. scrambled egg for breakfast. (protein is meant to fill you up right?) plus cereal bar at school
    2. cereal at 11 ( my break)
    3. Sandwich (not more then 5 points WW)
    4. cereal bar at end of school
    5. snacks in the evil evening- dried fruit, nuts, rich tea biscuits, jaffa cakes, sugar free jelly, ice lollies(home made) But instead of waiting for me being hungry I shall eat every couple of hours.
    6. dinner - ww meal 8-10 points plus veg (free)

Drink - water, diet coke , black tea.

    xxxx

And Also just as I am going to bed (!)

that is why I started the 18 week thing - if I don't shift my backside it will be summer before I know it and I won't have anything to wear and won't feel happy going out and doing stuff.

I definitely think snacks for work will help, am usually raiding the snack machine at work or else I am nearly fainting by lunch time. Another thing I keep meaning to do but always forget is to chew properly, eat slowly and stop as soon as I am full. Must do that! Forgot about sugar free jelly, I love that.

Right, must go to bed. Methinks I'll have to go into work tomorrow and not have another lie-in and work from home day.

    Night all :kisses3:

Definitely snacks, helps to keep metabolism up - if you starve yourself all day then eat body is more likely to put weight on. Sports trainer friend says eat something every 3 hours. I try and stick to healthy stuff but do only buy healthy stuff I actually like... carrot sticks & houmous/ tzatziki, oatcakes & cheese, dark chocolate in case of emergency chocolate hit requirement.

Sarah, the shopping monster can eventually be tamed. I went to an designer outlet centre on the weekend with a friend who's shopping for her fabulous 6 week holiday - she bought shedloads, I bought what I went for. And d'you know what, I didn't mind. I got stuff I really really liked, I didn't miss out on anything I really really wanted, and was happy to get home and feel in control of things. My life is going the way I want it to go. Slowly but surely.

    Yay :j @ Susu!
