i love snow as well but its just not enough for it to lie
 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.
I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long0 -
We have snow, so excited, the drive to work was a bit hairy, but I'm finishing at 4, cos that's when the next lot starts, oh for the days when folk got snowed in, I've plenty of food in, I could then go sledging.0

Wow, is snowing so much here! Can't believe it! I was telling my Canadian friends only a couple of weeks ago that it never snows properly in London and always goes really quickly!
I walked into work today (was secretly hoping was only one who made it and therefore would have to go home as I don't have key for office, but no such luck!!)
I think it might be worse tomorrow - really icy!
My friend couldn't get home last night and arrived at mine at 2.10am - I hope she manages to get home tonight!!! I don't think the airbed is that comfortable!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -

Hello you lovely lot! :hello:
Sorry I've been offline for a bit - I spent most of the weekend watching Prison Break series 2 (ye gods, those brothers are delish!!)
Loads been going on, so far too much for me to comment on (must post more often), but Lula :grouphug: for horrid man stuff, Sarahb  for loadsamoney, Slayerx _party_ for new job and TDQO :wall: for idiot bosses and beaurocracy!
I went out with my pal yesterday and in the week since I last saw her, she's met a lovely man and they're both very keen on each other - looks serious!! In a week!! I know these things can happen though, so am v pleased for her. She was going to the pub to meet him last night and asked if I wanted to go along. Quick makeover later and we were at the pub and....well, I've met someone lovely too!!! V complicated situation, but it looks quite hopeful. Will play this one nice and cool (although am secretly quite excited about seeing him again)
Hope you're all enjoying the snow if you've got it. It seems most of our office worked from home today, which is some feat considering there are over 4,000 in our office!! Been nice though, listening to music while I work. Not got much done, though :rotfl:£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Exactly what Buffy & Mags said
Not much snow here, just sort of fluffy rain, which I know sounds odd but it's the only way I can describe it.
Not been up to much today - I've even been studying
Sarah - shoes arrived v.nice :TDon't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -
LOL!! Okay, here's the info on the complicated man... Bit of back story required...
A few weeks ago I went out to a with my pal, and met some of her pals. One of them was saying how she's been having an affair because she's miserable with her husband. Said he was boring, she didn't love him any more, more like brother/sister, etc. The wife (from what I saw and what I've learnt from my pal since) is a bit of a lush - out on the pop every night, doesn't work so comes in at all hours, takes drugs, etc. I actually felt sorry for the husband and told her on the night - no-one deserves to be treated like that. Anyway, my pal told me yesterday that she told her husband last weekend that she wanted a divorce. They're still living in the same house until she can find somewhere else for her and their daughter.
Anyway... when we got to the pub yesterday, my pal pointed out the husband to me. I was expecting some 50-something couch potato, but he's actually late 30's, slim, a very good looking! I chatted with his wife for a bit, then my pal got chatting to her new bloke. I didn't want to sit with his wife and a load of p!ssed blokes, so I went over and introduced myself to her husband. He was playing pool with their daughter and I thought he might like a grown up to talk to. The three of us had a lovely couple of hours playing pool - the girls v him, and we got on really well.
I told my pal that I liked him, but that as it was complicated I wasn't sure what to do. She said I shouldn't do anything and that I'd see him again as we'd be at the pub again next weekend. So I agreed and just kept things as they were - flirting as much as you can when you're the new girl in his local and his wife's there and his daughter's with you!
We popped outside for a cheeky smoke and he asked me for my number. Of course I gave it to him, but I didn't take his number. I said that as things were complicated I'd leave it to him to get in touch with me - I didn't want to push it. Anyway, he texted me last night to see I'd got home okay in the snow, and we've been texting again today. He said he should be able to call later, when his wife's at the pub and his daughter's in bed.
I spoke with my friend today and she's really excited about it!! Said he's quite shy, so she was surprised he asked for my number! She said that him & his wife are not suited to each other at all, and that I'm much more his type of person. So... hopefully we'll be able to speak later, and it'd be nice to see him on his own, but I understand we'll have to take things really slowly.
Still excited though!!£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Mags, the Halifax are gits! I went in today to pay a bill (not that I ever want to go into a Halifax ever again, but it was the closest bank to ork and needs must!). The girl behind the counter asked about any account numbers in order to find my details and I have an old savings book my Mum opened for me when I was 2 (handy for being able to get her HBoS 'emergency' cheques out same day which is the only reason I keep it). Anyhoo, the girl then says, "Oh, we don't have you at your present address. Have you lived there long?" Yes. 8 years. Seems they have been sending correspondence to my old address for the past 8 years about my account!!!
Surely they should know me by now - Scottish, wee, pain in the !!!!, they've repaid me £4k in bank charges, £600 in visa charges and I argue about everything with them. Now they tell me they've been sending banking information to an address I haven't lived in for 8 years?!
I feel a complaint letter coming on!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
