Sounds like my male GP who was insistent for over 2 years that my coil had no bearing on my depression/anxiety etc, he told me it was work related stress and to quit my job asap and have some more Prozac! Lo and behold, when it was removed I changed practically overnight

my friend had the mirenal coil and for the last year she has been in agony no-one could tell her why and she was sent for an u/sound which was fine eventually the answer came from a locum GP who told her to get the mirena out because as it enters its shall wee best before date lol its starts producing too much something which can cause this pain.

so eventually a year later she got it out and now is pain free and also feels her mood has changed.

Mags they treated me exactly the same over my credit card. I'm thinking of putting a complaint in on the grounds that they deliberately held onto the debt to increase the amount. I even asked them to pass it onto debt collectors and they refused saying they would not pass it on for six more months:confused:. I'm sure it took more like a year. If you've defaulted they shouldn't be adding any more interest so its just a case of sit tight and wait to hear from them.

Yeah they will probably default you anyway if your on a DMP for any length of time they might do it a bit quicker and save you some money if you can't pay what they want. Once they've defaulted they sell it on to a DMC. This will mean no more interest charges ect are added so your debt finally starts reducing. The only problem is you then have to deal with the debt collectors.

It all depends on what company you get how easy they are to get along with. Untill today I've been lucky and had no trouble with them as long as I've paid them something each month. Today however I had a run in with a very unpleasant one . I don't know if its just the individual I spoke to or the company yet though. I'm writting them a very polite letter telling them how much I will be paying each month and I don't care if they don't agree its all they are getting. I just have to wait and see what happens. Its times like this I wish I had a suger daddy to go running to and get him to deal with the nasty people :rotfl:.

I just wish they would get on with it to be honest, DEFAULT ME ALREADY! :rotfl: I'm surprised CCCS took me on actually, as I have read previous threads where they will not deal with people on benefits, maybe its because my reason for problem is 'redundancy' so they did not see me as long term benefits (if only that was the case!!!) but its been nearly 18 months now :o Have been contemplating checking my CCA with the companies involved, if by any chance they are unenforcable at least then they may agree to my repayments, but really unsure about that route.

Yes, kind of blew it with this one. I think SC has many financial demons of his own to deal with and he has only been able to get a part time job since he was made redundant a few months ago so is no sugar daddy .. although the good side to that is the 1 to 2 nights we see each other a week at least can be very DFW as neither of us have a penny between us :rotfl:

thank you for the hug im fighting to reclaim insurance money back an the insurance company say contact the network provider which is vodafone and they say contact dial a phone as thats who provided the phone so i feel like today all iv done is go round in circles and all i want is dates when contract ended its not much to ask

as said before all we want to do is pay back what we owed at the begining and i sure as the sun is bright not wanting to pay back what theyve added on out of pure spite.

I shall be patient and look forward to the letter from blair scott and oliver :D and lets hope they are nicer to talk to than some of the people iv had the unfortune to speak to

yeah mine was the Mirena, and I was well into the 7th year before it was removed so this starts to make some sense (its recommended to be replaced after the 5th year) it was still working to the extreme (had no periods at all for 7years!) and as I was not in a relationship the GP was in no rush to replace it. You would think if there were known problems past the date they would flag you up to have it changed/removed lol! My change was so drastic they yellow carded the details for it to be looked in further .. darn scary thing :) All I can say is thank goodness for the female GP I finally saw who mentioned sometimes the Mirena has side effects (7 years too late tho ;) )

At least you can both support each other. I'm sure you've converted him to your dfw ways. Its one thing I'm nervous about if I do actually manage to get a date. I have to either hope he's paying or go somewhere really cheap. Then again one of my friends had a first date in McDonalds and shes now marrying the guy so maybe cheap dates are the way to go.

I have to say I've found Blair Oliver and Scott lovely. Unfortunalty for some reason my credit card debt has gone to APEX who so far have been gits. Not sure why it didn't go to BSO though.

Fortunately never hard horrendous PMT but can identify with insensitive / not listening GP's, I had what were very irregular periods for me, used to last 2 hours once a month, which was great but not normal for me, told my doctor, whose response was "think yourself lucky", turned out I had an ovarian cyst with pre-cancerous cells:eek:
